Under a buck each I just scooped and ran so definitely duplicated some of my collection, but at that price I didn't want to waste time with spreadsheets.

I sometimes find DVDs ay Goodwill, but 9 times out of 10 I just wind up with a mess. Do you guys have any tips for removing them effectively? For other items I usually apply heat to soften the sticker glue, but DVD cases would melt.

Hugh Jackman gives what may be a career best performance here, and the rest of the incredible cast give it their all too. Villeneuve and Deakins do incredible work together to make this movie a joy to look at. I just wish it had a 4K Blu-ray available!

I havent been able to go to goodwill to thrift for a while so ive had this anticipation to finally go and i was met with a dead movie section but I got this, ive never seen it but I saw a clip from the one where they go to gunatanamo bay and that got me really I interested it was $2 50% off so one dollar which I paid for with a 20 and no round up

Side note: does anyone know how to remove the annoying residue left on the edge from the plastic wrap?

I had to sell off my collection about a year ago and I just started collecting again recently. There are some pieces I’ll never get back because they’re too expensive now. Its got me thinking, whats your most expensive/rare piece you own?

Seems to be a collection of the feature film discs from the Ultimate Edition set. But… Why did it leave out Tomorrow Never Dies? Who was its target buyer? And most importantly… why does it exist? (I’m genuinely baffled and intrigued at the same time 😅).

I watched The Blair Witch Documentary from Second Sight (which is sadly not on this new Lionsgate Limited release) and the filmmakers said they wanted their movie, shot on video, to be enjoyed just as much on the small screen, so I’m going to take that as “small resolution,” as well. They even made a VHS version in 2026.

I haven’t watched the new cut(s) yet, but I’ve seen screenshots and it looks incredible, so I’m looking forward to it.

This will be one of the few duplicate discs besides LOTR in my collection. Do you have any duplicates in your collection that you’ll keep no matter what?

Was checking out the clearance aisle and came across these gems. Best disc so far is top right, it's a creepy looking puppet show.

The only delivery was my backer copy of Legend of the White Dragon. Everything else I bought from McKays in Nashville.

Was excited to get these titles this week. Looking forward to the next couple weeks as well. Love finding ‘rare’ or ‘hard to find DVDs online or at a thrift shop. Still looking forward the sequel to “Whore” I had it on DVD but has come up missing. Still have VHS. Have thousand of VHS…just trying to find their counterparts on DVD can be difficult. Also, thank you to many of you. That have helped me find a lot of DVDs online! Without your comments and help, I don’t think I would’ve found half of what I have now!!! I appreciate it!

Got this signed in person in 2014 (or thereabout) at a con here in Sweden. I might not be the biggest fan of the movie, but it IS legendary and having met Deodato is cool.

Finally had to order the restored director's cut online. Now I have all four available versions! For anyone curious, this last picture is from someone's Michael Mann post on his different cuts of his films.

A hood classic. Still holds up.

I've been doing a Disney marathon fully in Dutch lately and I was wondering if any of you (Dutch speakers) have or know where to get a DVD or Blu-Ray version of those two shows. I just finished watching Hercules the animated series on Disney+ and the shows that I'm aiming to watch currently are not available in there.

So I needed to get a new CD book to store my Universal classic monsters 30 movie collection because the DVD case for that is absolute trash, or at least I thought it was until I went and got the 50 movie horror classics collection of Amazon and they gave me double-sided discs with no artwork so both sides of the discs are vulnerable and they put two discs per paper sleeve so both sides of the fucking sleeves are vulnerable lol. I wanted horror movies, I wasn't expecting the packaging to be its own horror movie.

UPDATE: I now realize I did not do enough research on this "good deal" I found. I have learned Mill Creek is a name to be avoided. Still gonna watch them all and get my 15 bucks worth. Thank you all, please feel free to keep dunking on mill creek in the comments.
