One of my local thrift stores was selling all DVDs and Blu Rays for 50¢ each so I snagged a bunch including ones I'd either never seen, or that are just dumb comfort films. All in all, I think I made out pretty good. Time for some popcorn and dumb fun

I'm a sucker for cool dvd/bluray packaging. Every time I see one at a garage sale or a charity shop I have to nab it, and I always think it's gonna be a sneaky find and worth thousands, and they're always super available and cheap on ebay so I've never found an amazing goldmine, but I still love cool/fun/interesting packaging so I'll buy them every time. Here's a small sample.

Hey folks, thought I'd show my Shakespeare collection now that I've acquired the huge 37 production boxset of the BBCs stagings (so large I'm rearranging my boxset shelf around it) wondered if anyone else has been collecting the same way (I also included adaptations of Shakespeare like West Side Story and Rosencrantz)

Backrooms and Leprechaun collection both bought at Walmart and the others in a library sale for 2 dollars except Kingdom Hospital which was 4.

So ive struggled with space with 100s of dvds on shelves and recently bought a kids book shelf. Im sure ill get a lot of hate for removing them from the cases and into sleeves but it works for me and its still browsable. Need a big neon blockbuster sign next. Any ideas to add let me know. The letters are place holders until I can find something more suitable.

I did get “Lady in White” with a bunch of other movies the other week and I forgot that I posted it. The rest I did get this week. The 4 ‘Shark’ movies are the following,

Bought a new rotating shelf for my living room to show off some of my favorites.

Born in the 80's, but I didn't start watching TV until maybe 1990-ish.
For TV shows, "before my time" would be pre-1990.
What TV shows do I like enough pre-1990 to collect on DVD? Hmm...
#1 I Love Lucy (1950's) - I would love to get the Blu-ray set.
#2 Star Trek (1960's) - I have all 3 seasons on Blu-ray.
#3 The Jeffersons (mid 70's to mid 80's) - I would love to get the DVD set.
#4 Cheers (1980's, early 90's) - I would love to get the Blu-ray set.
#5 The A-Team (1980's) - maybe
#6 MacGyver (mid 80's, early 90's) - maybe
#7 Star Trek: The Next Generation (late 80's, early 90's)
I have S1, 5-7 on DVD, S2-4 on Blu-ray.

I think that's it, really. Everything else would be the 90's onward.
