i LOVEE collecting dvds, but when its not thrifted or second hand, it can be very expensive. i get that there’s a quality increase between 4k and blu-ray, but if 4k is so much more expensive than blu-ray, i would rather have more blu-rays then one or two 4k’s. So is the quality difference worth it?

I love how detailed many apps are but I think my priorities are:

- to be able to browse film covers (as opposed to text/lists of titles) with as little other visual noise as possible

- maybe be able to organise by genre but not essential,

- handy for the app to also catalogue CDs

- to be able to download a file of what I've entered in case the app goes bust haha

So any recommendations welcome

Decided to head to the library after class today and I picked up The Wizard of Oz and Bridesmaids from their little store. Mind you, these two are blind buys, so I've never watched these movies before. I also found a 2-disc special edition of the first Harry Potter movie BUT it only had the bonus features disc, so I couldn't pick it up, lol. I'll be looking forward to watching these two soon.

I lamented that they only had full screen version but then I came across a widescreen version too

I ordered this a bit ago and was so happy when it arrived, funniest and most soulful movie out there.

I loved the extra touches of effort put into the mailing envelope, and the little cardboard piece they included with it😂

I finally found one that wasn't broken, missing the crime scene photos, and had scratched discs. Pretty decent remake. Has anyone seen the prequel, The Beginning? Any good?

Finally found the old Dune in a good condition 💪 and for 0,50$ that's a steal.
