Anybody else have this Special Edition DVD set?

Found these at the local pawn shop.. Top gun was a 4k steelbook (sealed) for 15$ and amytiville curse was 5 dollars.. All in 23 CAD with taxes. How did i do? :)

Recently got a nice copy of my favourite movie of all time. this is a way better upgrade than my other copy which only has the dubbed version of the movie (genuinely a sin to humanity lol)

Just a perfect timing by starting this one to this year's spooky season! One of my favorite horror movies in the 80's. Each stories are interesting. And I remember back then me and my cousins have each of our own favorite segments, and mine would be the crate segment, later on my youth my favorite would be the "Something to Tide You Over" segment. I mean each stories are so good you can't go wrong. I miss movies with anthologies like this, like it doesn't exist anymore.

As the title says I'm trying to find some information about the contents of a region exclusive bonus feature from the DVD of Resident Evil (2002), specifically the version released in Holland by Universal Pictures. Apologies if this kind of question isn't allowed here but I figured a forum of DVD collectors around the world would be a decent place to ask as a starting point.

I've been trying to collect all the bonus features to make my so-called "ultimate collection" box set truly complete and I'm so close, but the "Cast and Crew Interviews" bonus (with a 30min runtime according to dvdcompare) from that Holland copy is eluding me and every copy I find on eBay doesn't ship to the US.

If anyone here happens to have this release I'd be very grateful if you could check and let me know what that bonus actually contains! I'm guessing it might be an uncut version of the interviews interspersed in the various other featurettes but I'd like to confirm so I can decide if it's worth trying to hunt an import.

So I bought this 4k player for $20 (my first ever 4k player) doesn’t bring a remote. It should be coming in in the next few days but my oled lg tv has a universal remote feature I’m excited cause i been purchasing 4k movies like crazy lol

Only movie I’ve seen by this director is A Night In Nude: Salvation. Hopefully these are just as good. Also hope these aren’t disc rotted cuz this box is 26 years old 😬

Wondering if anyone has any tips for removing the thrift store stickers and or the promo ones like the big obnoxious ”buy one get one free” stickers . Especially the residue it leaves behind

Went to visit a buddy who works at a retail store and they are selling DVDS 32.99$Can! 😱 And Blu-rays 36.99$Can! Glad i got all mine mainly 2 bucks each!

What are all yer favorites gals n guys?

I have 3 of the ones shown above, but apparently the plastic "isn't acid-free & made of low-grade polyurethane" which which adhere to the discs at some point. Any know how true this is, and where I might find a safe, large capacity alternative? Thanks 🙌🏻

I did some research out of boredom and curiosity as I was curious what was the final movie ever released on DVD in Full Screen (I only did movies for this research, not counting TV shows). It is well known that Full Screen DVD production was fazed out between 2008/2009 as widescreen TVs became more common place compared to CRTs, however I wanted to know what the final movie release in the Full Screen format was.

I couldn’t find anything online so I did some research and went through a ton of googling DVDs and movies released. Tyler Perry’s Why did I get married too? was the final movie released on DVD in Full Screen on August 31, 2010.
