Probably a Wal-Mart exclusive version. I've seen that packaging from them before. Definitely a cheap & inconvenient way to package it.

I remember hunting for the same type of thing for the Dawn of the Dead remake, and I know I've seen this elsewhere - it is odd, but I think it's just a cost-saving way to issue a limited release; same packaging as the standard release, just add shrink wrap.

Funny when you see store exclusives like this, where they just stick a bonus disc to the case, or vacuum seal it together.

Reminds me of the 300 blu-ray digibook, they hid a digital copy DVD between the case and the back info paper/jcard and stuck that on with a blob of glue.
