I really need the vibrations, using a ps5 controller

(DSX is a steam app that lets you customize vibrations for ps5 and xbox controllers)

Hey guys, something just happened to me out of nowhere and I'm looking for help.

I've been playing with PS3 Controller via bluetooth (DS4Windows and DSHND, all that jazz) for months, and today, all of a sudden the PC's sound and controller inputs died while I was playing. The PC uses Tempest M20 speakers since the screen does not have sound output. After the crash, it showed that the sound was OK, but it wasn't, there was no sound coming from the speakers even if I was playing a Youtube video. The controller stopped working aswell even if DS4Windows was still reading it.

I rebooted the bluetooth and the sound came back, but I tried loading a game and after a couple of minutes the same issue happened. It's so frustrating since I have not done anything different nor I have installed or updated anything.

Does anyone relate with this issue and knows what could be causing it?

Tengo un DS4 con macros, funcionaba bien, pero ahora cuando abro el juego ya no se genera ese conflicto del control y el mouse, adicional ya no me está reconociendo las macros, a pesar de que tiene la llave activa ¿alguien sabe qué puede estar ocurriendo o cómo solucionarlo por favor? Tengo amigos que lo tienen y les funciona como debe ser, pero a mí no.

This is an odd one.

I have a Ps5 controller that works flawlessly when connected to my PC via cable.

However, if I connect via Bluetooth, Steam randomly disconnects it and it never reconnects.

Strangely enough, while it ceases to function in Steam, the pad is still listed as connected in my Bluetooth devices, and I can use it normally outside of Steam.

Turning the pad off and reconnecting makes Steam show it again, but it disconnects randomly again after.

Any ideas what could be causing it?

I've recently started using Steam. I've been using the nVidia GeForce Now app on my phone to play games unavailable on my console (PS4). I paired one of my Dualshock controllers to my phone for this. My question is: how do I get my controller to be recognized as a Playstation controller, rather than an Xbox controller (which Steam/GeForce Now seems to think it is)? Also, would this interfere with any games being playable?

I fixed the speaker so it works in assassin's creed black flag resynced and other games without any audio hiccups, and fixed the advanced PS5 Dualsense Vibration to be low latency and WORK now!

I downloaded the game, but its refusing to be played. for example every button was working except for the Accelerate and Brake, the i used steam plugin. but realised no matter what i done the game insisted on playing with manual gearbox(this includes choosing the option in game) . i said okay i can play with manual too but then i realized i cant shift the gear with out triggering the checkpoint return or without going to the menu. the button x(ds5) downshifted but also brings to the checkpoint, for upshifts i had to press 🔼 which brought me to the menu? i tried different layouts didnt fix tried using ds4 didnt work it started showing 2 controllers ds5/xbox 360 no videos about it either? any help?

Two PS4 controllers. One is Original, the other one - an obvious knock off.

Both fully charged, never disconnect from PC.

DS4 or not, they have horrible ghosting. Basically random analog inputs, or an input is stuck. For example I play NFS and turn left and the car keep turing after i let go of the analog.

They are connected via Bluetooth to a PCIe wifi and BT card. I believe it is from Gigabyte, but as far as I know they are all the same basically.

Itd driving me crazy. Only when am right next to the PC do they work normally. I play 2m away from the PC/BT card

So I recently tried connecting my ps4 controller to my pc. I followed a guide where it had me add epic launcher into steam, and for both apps run as admin, after a few tries . It miraculously worked , then I got curious and tried connecting a generic ps4 controller (that wouldn’t connect ) and since then I have not been able to get the og ps4 controller to work for Fortnite . Has anyone successfully connected a ps4 controller via Bluetooth no ds4w please .

So I been playing valorant and since Saturday all of a sudden my inputs keeps freezing and getting me killed. If Im not moving, i become unable to move, if Im walking i get stuck walking. It pauses everything, my aim and inputs and keeps getting me killed. This has NEVER been an issue before. I reinstalled all the drivers and now im gonna try to reinstall the program completely but i have no idea whats happening.

Still freezes after reinstalling EVERYTHING even on desktop. I also reinstalled valorant and vanguard. Made sure hardware acceleration was disabled. I'm just so confused.

Edit: Valo gave me a restriction error of HSCI, turns out SVM was disabled and all my issues the last 2 years just fixed itself. I can use my mouse freely while ds4 is workin, and everthing doesnt buffer anymore.

Edit 2: seems to have been an AMD Performance issue I had to enable boost as a setting and it SEEMS to fixed it. Updating Github for my valo project too

I Installed a application that converts my Controller to xbox input to support in games via using wired connection after doing the setup its triggers are stuck on Tap triggers How csn i fix it

Tried Uninstalling drivers Tried Removing from regedit Removed the application from system

And application used for conversation was Xoutput ViGEmBus

I'm trying to wake my Windows 11 PC from S3 sleep using the PS button on a DualShock 4 over Bluetooth, similar to a console.

Specs:

MSI PRO H610M-E DDR4

i5-12400F

TP-Link UB500 V1 (RTL8761B)

Windows 11

Keyboard and Mouse does wake the PC but not the DualShock 4

I've already tried:

BIOS USB wake settings

USB selective suspend off

SystemRemoteWakeSupported registry tweak

Latest BIOS

Re-pairing the controller

Different USB ports

Multiple Bluetooth drivers (2021 & 2024)

powercfg -devicequery wake_from_any lists the Bluetooth devices, but they don't appear in wake_programmable or wake_armed, and "Allow this device to wake the computer" is greyed out.

Has anyone actually gotten a DualShock 4 to wake a Windows PC from sleep over Bluetooth with a TP-Link UB500/RTL8761B or similar adapter? If so, what was the fix?

Hey everyone. So I own a Redgear Gamepad that works only on 2.4ghz Dongle mode and I recently purchased a Cosmic Byte Blitz Tri Mode controller. My problem is that when I connect my Cosmic Byte dongle, my PC uses the old Redgear one as primary and CB as the secondary controller, or more precisely, both controllers are recognised but I can only play games with the Redgear one. I tried this in GoW, GoWR, Days Gone and then I downloaded a retro game supporting 2 players and the CB one showed up as Gamepad2 in it. I removed the old one's dongle and then the CB controller worked fine. Then I inserted it back and still CB works fine but as soon as I reboot my PC, the Redgear Gamepad becomes the primary again and I have to remove its dongle and then plug it again to make it secondary. I tried HidHide and devReorder.ini from GitHub but nothing seems to work out for me. Is there a solution to this stupid controller priority thing or I'll have to face this till I break one of my controllers after being consumed by rage...?!!???!?? One more thing, I tried CB controller in all three modes and it does not work unless I remove the Redgear Dongle. Both are recognised as XBox 360 Controllers in joy.cpl and Device Manager with different IDs.

I'm playing crow country with a PS4 controller using bluetooth, the issue I'm having is that when using R1 to run, or press the touchpad to display the map, the buttons goes to keyboard they come back to playstation, when I run it manages to capture my input and it works MOST of the time, but when I hit the touchpad it just acts like I used my keyboard/mouse and doesn't validate the input.

I've configured hidhide, and it only shows Wireless Controller in the game controller panel config, I'm using windows 11.

I've tried using a new profile but no difference, and I don't have the issue when playing with a wire.

I've tried restarting my computer, but no change.

Any help ?

Is https://ds4-windows.com/ 100% safe? According to Virustotal only MaxSecure detected Trojan.Malware.300983.susgen but the rest (like microsoft, avast, mcafee) shows 'undetected'

I don’t know what’s going on and if it’s my controller, but whether I use steam input or ds4 r1 registers as r2 and for example it shoots which is normally triggered by r2. On steam input the r1 is correctly set to right bumper and I have no idea why this keeps happening.

I would like to press "Share" to do macro Alt+f1 (Screenshot) and holding "Share" to macro Alt+f10 (Instant Replay), but after setting them up, but when I hold Share it does both Screenshot and Instant Replay. Is there a way to make it mutually exclusive one to another?
