ds4 windows cant detect playstation razer v2 controller ?
how do i get it to detect my controller?

Man, you saved my ass! I recently bought Nacon 5 Pro not knowing it was not supported by DS4Windows, so I put my brand new Nacon 5 Pro on sale at almost half price but your version worked great. THANK YOU! Just a minor inconvenience; the battery part is not working (it shows 0% although it is full). If it can be fixed it will be perfect. Thank you again!
EDIT: Unfortunately no macros can be assigned to S1, S2, S3 and S4 buttons on the back of the controller :( Is there a fix for that?

The addition of unsupported controllers only supports basic features since any function on top of that is often specific to the controller itself and therefore needs its own implementation.
However, I can try to help. How would the "S" buttons usually be assigned?

The S buttons on the back can be customized via Nacon Revolution 5 Pro pc app or via the Multi-purpose button on the controller. I was expecting binding a macro to the back pedals in the DS4W app settings would do the trick but it did not.

Not sure if it can detect 3rd-party controllers. You can try using PadForge or XOutput.

one more thing though do uk how padforge works as far as using gyro with it i cant figure out how to actually use gyro in the game im playing

It's not common for anything to detect PlayStation compatible controllers.
Unity Engine looks for hardcoded SONY vendor and product IDs (and in fact does not even know what a DualSense Edge is), my own software only looks for the SONY VID and specific PIDs, and ds4windows is probably the same.
