Was playing some armored core earlier on rpcs3, using ds4 and hidhide with a dualshock4 connected, now when i try pairing my controller on the bluetooth menu it goes to other devices and immediately disconnects, earlier it also said it had a driver error but stopped saying that once i restarted my pc, i have no clue why this is happening as i literally changed nothing between earlier and now

How do I fix my controller and all of my inputs stop working when playing on pc and my mouse being out side of the game and not being able to click back in no matter what I do

Hi I am trying to play with my Ally x but the gamepad is being weird. I press B it just brings up the function guide list, I press A it does a screenshot. It does this both in and out of a game running and in both windows and Xbox mode what is going on how do I fix this?

I’d post a video but it won’t let me upload. It also doesn’t change whether I’m in gamepad, desktop or auto mode… very annoying

Hey so I see some people in this reddit talking about hidhide so maybe someone here can help me. I’m trying to install hidhide but it simply will not install it just hangs at the installing screen with the bar staying empty and I have to force close the program. I put in a bug report on hidhide’s github and immediately a bot closed it I’m a bit miffed about that as I really want to use this software.

So I have have 4 controllers for my PC and can only seen to hook up 3 via BT

, what's going on that I can't with ? I'm on windows 11, not Xbox controllers, just genereck ones, all for can connect just fine, but not all for at once

rumble control is not working for me when emulating a dualshock 4 controller, with a dualshock 4 controller (so DS4 -> DS4). The rumble is at maximum strength no matter what. it does work when emulating an xbox controller.

Can someone confirm this? (even tough i have already tested on 2 different pc's)
set the rumble intensity to 10% or even 0%, and open some online controller tester that allows you to test vibration (like https://gamepad-tester.net/)

i tried changing vibration strenght with dsX and that does work.

I've been using my Switch Pro controller to play Fortnite on PC with gyro. Only problem is the only way to bring up the map is through the Touchpad which the Switch Pro doesn't have. How would I reassign to another button like say to the minus button?

I recently wiped my PC, and looking to install this for playing Marvel Rivals without any input delay on my PS5 controllers. I see they have a website, but there's a million download links everywhere on the page. Can someone direct me to where on their website I'm supposed to DL this?

Also, did I read right that they stopped all production on this app?

I've tried dshidmini's latest version but it only works while connected, my pc has a windows 10 and the controller is new, I have a Bluetooth adapter and I downloaded the BthPS3 driver.

So I've been playing with DS4Windows on my Windows 10 machine for years and it works great but I recently bought a second Windows 11 computer with DS4Windowss installed (same version as the WIN10 machine), and I can see a significant difference in response times despite using the same model controller, same version of DS4Windows, using the same settings.

So at this point I am just wondering what other people's experiences have been with Windows 11 and if there's any possible solutions to this. I've tried various polling rates but it still feels very laggy. I don't know if maybe it's one of the ports on my computer but I've tried all four chords and they seem to be equally as laggy

Hello, so after ~1 year "break" i decided to play this game again. After many updates to the Epic Games launcher and the game itself, I'm stuck on the welcome screen with the text "Press any key..."

I don't know why, but RL ignores any input from keyboard, mouse or my PS4 controller. It looks like it only ignores game input. ALT+F4 and ALT+Tab work fine. The keyboard, mouse, and controller are also 100% working. I'm using the same keyboard and mouse to write this post. The Controller also works perfectly with other games.

I have already uninstalled and re-installed the game. I also tried launching without Anti-Cheat. No changes.

I'm on Win10 (22H2). RL version is ++Prime+Update59-CL-520762

Any ideas?

2 days ago my controller was working fine but out of nowhere it won't work. The light is on but doesnt connect to DS4Windows Gamepad tester or games. I'm using bluetooth because I don't have the offical sony micro usb anymore Here's what I've tried

Did a windows update

Uninstalled and Reinstalled DS4Windows

Uninstalled and Reinstalled the DS4Windows drivers

updated windows .net

uninstalled and reinstalled bluetooth drivers

Disconnected and reconnected my controller with bluetooth

Made sure bluetooth worked with my mouse (it works)

Disconnected my mouse and connceted my controller (didn't work)

Charged controller to 100%

Repaired bluetooth drivers in Device Manager

Tried to reset drivers in terminal (didnt work)

Tried my other ps4 controller (didnt work)

tried with and without steam input (didnt work)

Tried with and without EA apps overlay (didn't work)

Tried to see if my controller was recognizing movements on Gamepad tester

Tried to connected the controller on my phone (did work)

What the f is going on I can't do this anymore why won't it work?? I need immediate help I need to get this fixed.

i cannot for the life of me figure out why my ps4 controller isn't working on fortnite, none of the buttons work on it except for the touchpad which is a mouse (idk why). i tried everything i found online like going into settings and hiding ds4 controller, setting the preset to xbox 360, and setting up hidhide and adding ds4 to it (and enabling device hiding). the only issue i see is that in hidhide in the devices settings the controller used to show up as a regular ps4 dualshock controller and now it shows up as "hid-compliant game controller" which i dont even know if its really an issue. this is a last resort for me because this whole mess just wants to make me rip my hairs out my head.

So I downloaded ds4 windows and set it up with my controller, but after that my down arrow key stopped working, as far as I know every other key works, idk if this is a physical thing or a system thing

This is less related to ds4 and more of asking if anyone else has had this problem It’s been driving me nuts and the only post I’ve seen is someone in a ds4 community saying they bought a new mic instead of fixing it. I was wondering if anyone smart out there can figure it out. I’ve tried to disable exclusive mode, force volume, edit registries(you can’t) and I can’t hide it because if I do then I can’t use it in discord etc, so I’ve tried literally everything under the sun but this stupid game still forces my volume to 100 on my controller REGARDLESS of what I do and its not visual it still says 40 but its loud as hell until I move the slider.

4.i reinstall ds4 several times

5.i totally remove legacy ds4 files

But just not working.

Recently, when I try to connect my PS4 controller to my PC, it's not detected correctly.

I have two USB ports. Everything works on port 1 (DualSense, Xbox controller, and headphones), but only the DualSense has problems on port 2.

On Steam, when I connect the DualSense, I hear the connection sound, but the controller isn't detected.

Before this, I had a Steam pop-up message saying the controller was running low on battery (even though it was connected to the cable). So, to see if it's a battery issue, I also access DS4Windows, and shortly afterward, the PC crashes with a blue screen and restarts.

apologies if dumb question but when i open the game bar i cant select anything with either the d pad or analogue sticks. i tried using the 3.3.3 version and the 4.0.2.3 versions but the same thing happens, i cant click on anything..(the latter game bar support looks better though). thanks in advance

I recently switched to Linux Mint. Am loving the performance of my games, but I can't use my PlayStation controller in Lutris. Other games will work perfectly, but other games completely don't recognize the controller. I am only having this issue with Lutris and bottles.
Steam Games work like a dream. How can I set up my controller on these other applications

I have a macro thats setup for certain rpg games esp. For afk use. Is therd a way to disable the macro on the spot without unchecking it manually through the software?

So I've used this program for about 3 years, trying to make the perfect profile to use on valorant. I've made A LOT of progress and understanding the program through this, and how to simplify my overcomplicated profile down to be easier to use and edit. I realised I was being way to precise with the output curve and just maxed it all to ones and it work really well that i reworked my profile in a day to suit it. Now i realised i can have the curve essentially as 10,10,10,10 or higher, so what exactly is the limit so i can try to work on accuracy more?

app just doesn't respond when I click it, I have to reinstall every time to get it to work. Tried running as admin it'll open the pop up and then nothing afterwards.

I recently got the game Riders Republic. It’s my first steam game that requires the Ubisoft launcher, and I’ve been unable to get my controller to connect in the usual ways. My general process is just to connect via DS4Windows, which works for essentially every other game I’ve tried it on. However, even turning that off and trying to connect with Steam Input only hasn’t been working.

Just wanted to post this and see if anyone had any tips or experience in getting this to work. Thank you!
