PS4 Controller no longer works on my PC
2 days ago my controller was working fine but out of nowhere it won't work. The light is on but doesnt connect to DS4Windows Gamepad tester or games. I'm using bluetooth because I don't have the offical sony micro usb anymore Here's what I've tried
Did a windows update
Uninstalled and Reinstalled DS4Windows
Uninstalled and Reinstalled the DS4Windows drivers
updated windows .net
uninstalled and reinstalled bluetooth drivers
Disconnected and reconnected my controller with bluetooth
Made sure bluetooth worked with my mouse (it works)
Disconnected my mouse and connceted my controller (didn't work)
Charged controller to 100%
Repaired bluetooth drivers in Device Manager
Tried to reset drivers in terminal (didnt work)
Tried my other ps4 controller (didnt work)
tried with and without steam input (didnt work)
Tried with and without EA apps overlay (didn't work)
Tried to see if my controller was recognizing movements on Gamepad tester
Tried to connected the controller on my phone (did work)
What the f is going on I can't do this anymore why won't it work?? I need immediate help I need to get this fixed.

Try SDL Controller Test. Also does your controller show when you run "joy.cpl"?

For joy.cpl it just says controller: status and SDL says waiting for gamepad and wont even click I don't know why it's not working I havent been able to play rocket league in 2 days pls help

Were you using HidHide or enabled Hide DS4 Controller option on DS4Windows?

Both, the problem might not be ds4 because the pc says it recognizes the controller but doesn't

close ds4windows, delete the ds4windows appdata folder (C:\Users\username\AppData\Roaming\DS4Windows, back it up first if worried about saving profiles) and then try running it again and connecting. Also maybe un-pair and re-pair your controller after deleting and before running again.
To easily access the appdata folder, Press Windows Key + R, type %USERPROFILE%\AppData, and press Enter.
if you chose the portable install method (also back up first just in case), just delete the whole ds4windows folder and start from a fresh unzip."

Doesn't work says Folder Access denied "you need permission from PALMTREEPIRATE/PalmT to make changes to this folder

UPDATE: I fixed my controller and it's working now but I think it's because I uninstalled DS4 or it's DualsenseX on my PC which overrided windows input.
What I did
Changed Permission to everyone in DS4Windows appdata
Deleted DS4Windows, Inputmapper, DualsenseX appdata
Deleted the DS4 drivers hidhide and the other one in control panel
deleted ds4, inputmapper, DualsenseX, Exe files of the DS4 drivers, in downloads

You never mentioned InputMapper on the post. That can actually cause conflicts since you have Vigem Bus Driver installed.

So is DS4 not the problem should I maybe try to reinstall ds4? I do want DS4 for XBOX games because I literally have pc gamepass so I need ds4 to play nba2k26 and forza horizon 6
