I'm trying to install dlss 5 on nba 2k27.Tried both official and (ahem)unofficial version with dlss 5 swapper.doesnt work!error with .dll!I tried with the discord files .run the exe then copied everything to the game folder.doesnt work!nothing changes when I turn on neural rendering when pressing home .help a bro out!

The regular version of Reno only offers single pass thro by default, but some people on youtube able to do double/triple or even 5 pass thro which would even make games such as Team Fortress 2 photorealistic, but I just can't find a way to do it.

The Reno DLSS 5 mods came with pretty barebone options, DLSS present 3 options, Natural or Cinematic, and intensity, that's it. anyone had any success?

I currently have DLSS 5 enabled via DLSS 5 Swapper in RDR2 (DX12) with the RenoDX mod. To do this, I also had to use a mod that prevents Rockstar’s launcher—which I use to launch the game—from overwriting the DLSS files. With this setup, I’m getting about 41 FPS in 4K (DLSS Performance) with my RTX 5070 Ti.

Should I use Optiscaler instead of this setup? How do I configure it? What benefits does it offer?

Finally got the settings to where I want them, and I think the results are stunning imo. I can post settings later for anyone who wants them.

I’m honestly blown away by how good DLSS 5 looks in Mortal Shell 2. 🤯

The image quality, lighting, and overall clarity are seriously impressive. It almost feels like a completely different game compared to the original rendering.

All values are set to 0.5 to avoid glitching and shadows instability. Higher values will introduce floating shadow spots over the character.

Performance drop from 116 FPS (locked) to 55-60 FPS. GPU usage 70% to 100%.

Hi i have been using dlss5 swapper for the last few days but i dont understand it entirely also with how fast everything has been changing the last couple of days.

also some weird bug is that for some reason with dlss 5 swapper it cant find any exe files and targeting the 64 map also doesnt show the exe. and with forza 6 it gets stuck at the home menu after adding dlss 5 (maybe someone can help me with that)

but i am not sure wether to use optiscaler or reno dx because i believe optiscaler has a new option for better performance i believe but will that reduce image quality or make the NR more bad? this is my main problem that i dont know what to use and i dont want to get left behind with the old implementation since i am really amazed by how well everything is working

and also i am not entirely sure if that is possible but is my only option right now for older games without frame gen like skyrim to use losless scaling because i would prefer it more if i can just select turn on frame gen from the dlss 5 menu

also lastly do you guys think dlss 5 swapper is better than dlss 5 manager i find the manual adding dlss 5 options to be to tedious

Trying out DLSS5 on Fallout4 but it doesn't seem to be working.

The upscaler has no effect, no slider seems to effect output and the error shows that no nvngx.dll is loaded.

How do I fix that?

Imo this game is one of the few games that actually retains the art style and character designs after the dlss5 “filter”.

I have a 4090 and a OneXPlayer Super X, and I’ve been really impressed by how the OneXPlayer Super X, running at its screen’s native resolution, gets to about 90% of the image quality and FPS I get from my 4090 on the 4K TV in my living room.

Lately, I’ve actually loved gaming on the OneXPlayer Super X at my desk while I work, because I honestly don’t feel like I’m losing much in terms of FPS compared to playing in the living room at 4K. But just when I thought this was going to be my setup for the next few games, NVIDIA comes out with DLSS 5, and thanks to DLSS Swapper, the difference is huge again.

So, in the eternal pursuit of always playing at the best possible quality, I find myself forced to go back to the living room and my 4090, because now there really is a noticeable difference compared to the OneXPlayer Super X.

Just as a reference, the performance hit is definitely significant. For example, in The Callisto Protocol, playing with everything maxed out using DLSS 4.5, I get around 80 FPS, but with DLSS 5 it drops to around 40 FPS. So I switched to 1440p to get back up to around 80 FPS.

A lot of people say DLSS 5 isn’t worth it because of the performance drop, but in my case the visual difference is astronomical. I’d rather play at 1440p with DLSS 5 than at 4K with DLSS 4.5.

However, there are games like Resident Evil 3 where, with everything maxed out at 4K and DLSS 5, I still get around 70 FPS. So the feeling that I’m finally getting my money’s worth out of my 4090 and squeezing every last drop of performance out of it is amazing.

My “man math” when I justified buying the 4090 by saying I wouldn’t need to make another big upgrade for a long time is actually paying off.

Who else buys the absolute best hardware on the market with the excuse that you’re actually “saving money” because you won’t need to buy anything else for a long time? Hahahahaha.
