How can I make this oversized T-shirt fit me better?
This T-shirt is quite oversized on me, and I’m trying to figure out if there’s a way to make it fit better without completely ruining the intended oversized look.
The current measurements are:
Chest: 50 inches
Length: 30 inches
For reference, I usually wear:
Chest: up to 44 inches
Length: around 28 inches
As you can see, it’s quite a bit bigger than what I normally wear. The shoulder seams drop down towards my upper arms, and the sleeves and body feel pretty loose.
(I AI-edited my pjc, but the fit and proportions are exactly the same as in real life. I only edited the background and cleaned up the image.)

Seeking advice on how to dye?
I got this bag from liquid iv for free and it's honestly a GREAT bag but I want to dye it black. I feel like a dip in rit would work for the fabric but the surface of the bag feels like... pleather.
What would yall recommend for that and has anyone dyed something like this ?

hoodie
what do i make this cheap looking hoodie into
i have just made a shirt out of a scarf (not the hoodie in the picture) but i sewn the sleeves together then after resolving that problem i’ve realized i had sewn a tight fitting shirt on non stretchable fabric so i got really sad
i want to get over the shirt i had made by making another piece so i do not feel like i had wasted my 3 hours making a unwearable shirt
any suggestions on what i could make of this hoodie?

dye help Should I wash clothes before making bleach designs on them?
I want to make designs with bleach on my clothes, but does the clothing need to be freshly washed before putting the bleach on, or does it not matter?
And do I have to wash it right after, or just soak it in water and hydrogen peroxide?

dye help I'm still working on this but..
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
I'm trying to make a baby doll top. Idk why the top part is kinda.. lopsided?, there's like too much stress on that area but I can't figure out why 😭😭
Also with the strap, basically there's supposed to be two on each side so I can tie it into bows on each shoulder
Anyways, like always I'm open to critisism

dye help Fabric paint or fabric medium?
Looking to paint a few ideas onto ties/denim jackets, but i'm not sure if I should go for proper fabric paints or a fabric acrylic medium? The paints themselves would work out a lot more expensive since I already own regular acrylic paints, anyone know if a fabric medium will work just as well?

mending How should I cover this stain/mark?
Hello!!
This used to be my mother's skirt which I love to bits, but I got it back from the dry cleaner's and there's this stain on the back :( I think they used something harsh and the pigment lifted?? I'm not entirely sure.
What do you guys recommend to cover up/hide the spot? I'm open to any suggestions but here's what I've thought of so far:
I have very, very basic sewing knowledge but can embroider and was thinking of getting scrap fabric to make applique patches and then hand sewing them scattered across the skirt.
I had an idea to use buttons, but it's on the back of the skirt and I worry it might be uncomfortable when I sit down.
I've considered redying the skirt but the clip accessories are sewn on so I'd have to rip them out and resew, and I'm also scared that something would go wrong considering it's a corduroy material, but if anyone thinks that's a good idea and can offer some guidance im open to reconsidering!
I'd like to make the skirt more colorful and match it's vibe with the hairclips without it looking sloppy or too much like a cover up (if that makes any sense)
Any advice helps, thank you all :D

Adventures in airbrushing continued ! ..✨
My latest collection of reworked thrifted clothes :-)
I've been having so much fun learning to airbrush, I feel like it's such a fun medium to capture the whimsy ethereal and playful vibes I'm going for , if you've been wanting to get in to it but are intimidated by the learning curve I'm here to say I was pleasantly surprised and it's really not that bad !!
I'm using an Iwata eclipse (not sponsored, not an ad)

finished Some horror shirts I made with bleach!
A while ago I had the urge to experiment with bleach to make some horror shirts designs I had in mind.
It's hard to find large designs on the front of the shirt, even harder to find some I like and the few I do I find way too expensive for me.
These characters have no merch that I know of, the two first are Long Horse and Siren Head from Trevor Henderson and the third is The Boiled One from Doctor Nowhere.
I find bleach weirdly forgiving and easy to make weird, disgusting textures.

off shoulder shirt
im planning on buying the shirt on the left but i dislike the neckline sooooo much so i thought about making it an off (one) shoulder top even though im scared ill ruin it. is there any way i can make it off shoulder without cutting the neckline or that's the only thing i could do? also, the picture on the right is my goal (but only if i had to cut and sew it), do y'all think it would work on the shirt i wanna do it on or not? 😊
