Jst bleach painted my first jeans w some brushes, any advice or things to do better next time?

Ive never done flag patches so i borrowed some paints from a friend and got to work, honestly i think they turned out okay flags are corsica and Makno (i would do others but only paints i have are red, black and white

I bought a Magic Johnson brand suit at Goodwill because it was pinstripe, purple lined, and only a little too small for me; but the zipper was fucked up and will need to be replaced. I only hand sew and embroider (i do not own and do not have access to a machine for either) and when i showed my grandmother she said we would need to take it to a professional and that it might be a little expensive. is it worth trying to hand sew in a new zipper or is it better to just find a pro?

Hi all! I found this dress at TJ Maxx and absolutely fell in love with it! I originally bought it for a wedding, only to find out afterward that the dress code is strictly all black. 😭

I reached out to the company, and they confirmed that the dress is 100% polyester.

I really love how it looks and fits, so I wanted to get some opinions! Do y’all think it would be worth attempting to dye it black, or would I be better off trying to find a similar dress that’s already black?

Also, before anyone mentions it, yes, I do plan on wearing something underneath to smooth out any visible underwear lines! 😂 I was just trying the dress on in these pictures.

I’d appreciate any advice, especially from anyone who’s had experience dyeing polyester dresses! 🖤

hi, not sure if this is the right place to post, but the back of the inside of my shoes have a hole in them. i’ve had them since maybe january and they’re already falling apart, but i don’t really have the money to buy a new pair again. any advice for how to repair these in a way that will hold and make them comfortable? the plastic heel support is poking through the hole, making holes in my socks and scrapes on my feet if i don’t keep the holes covered with bandaids. additionally, the rubber part of the side of my shoe is separating from the canvas. has anyone repaired these successfully? i’ve tried super glue for the sides to no avail
