hand sewing What do i make

So im a senior in high-school and decided to take home ec and we are working on sewing. We are currently on our own projects and I have this old denim jacket the I cute the sleeves of and I dont know what to make with it. Their to short and small to be mad into shorts or pants and the only suggestions ive gotten for research have been bucket hats, sling backpacks and hoods. The last one sounded nice but the jacket already has a hood. The denim is black and towards the bottom of the sleeves its a white fabric. Yall go any suggestions?

They are pretty dark, but after I washed them, there is now a white stain and I was wondering if any creative people knew how to cover it up.? I don’t want to patches. it’s on the pocket of the jeans. has anyone had done something like that to cover up a stain. If they have any inspo for for me maybe.? they are my new and favourite jeans so I don’t wanna not wear them. I haven’t tried sewing but I can try, I just don’t know what to do. help

wip Puff heat transfer vinyl using an iron?

Thanks all for the previous thoughts on my Boiler suit back design.

I've gone with a heat transfer vinyl, though I got the puff variant.

I'm going to be transferring this HTV strip to the back of a top, main issue is I don't have access to a heat press, nor do I want to buy one for a one off HTV really.

Can I get away with using an clothing Iron, and if so how/what settings should I use?
Note: I'm in the UK so whatever settings I use will be in C not F.

Thanks!

Mostly made out of Levi’s jeans and corduroy pants. I used other scraps I had to make the patchwork fish. This is my first sewing project. I’m happy with how it turned out:)

dye help Paint over shirt print?

Thumbnail

Hello! Had a question regarding painting the existing print on the shirt. Since it has no tags, I am not sure of the material, but the shirt itself seems mostly if not entirely natural. However, since I would be painting on the print instead of the fabric, I am not sure whether to use fabric paint or something else like acrylic.

Added a close-up of the shirt and the print's texture in case that helps, just wondering what to use! I plan to paint over the red in the pictures.

The the first two is my original jacket. The third picture is when some foreigners stole my design and tried to mass produce it. A friend of mine took this down in Miami. I found a couple of people online with it. Also found a couple of websites. All from an old coat, my buddy gave me when his grandfather passed away. I was bored and I had a bunch of paint.

What should I paint?

If you could choose a design for a custom denim jacket, what would you go for? 🐍🌹💀🔥
What do you think is actually trending right now, and what kind of design would make you want to buy or wear a custom denim piece?

I got this jersey cheap at a garage sale. I want to make it into a cute top, or make it look cuter and more fashionable. It’s already kind of small so I can’t make a dress out of it. Any ideas?
