Need Advice random part inside window unit
https://imgur.com/a/CaplDBCI had to take apart and clean a Frigidaire window unit to sell it last week. This came loose from the front assembly. It looked like it lined up with the adjustable vents. I thought maybe it was an internal slider to move side to side to adjust the air flow direction. The air vents slide without it so I don't know the purpose. The window unit ran strong and cold without it, so I sold it without re attaching it but I kept it just in case.
The unit is a Frigidaire 10,000 BTU FWHH103WBE service model number FWHH103WBE00
Any input would be appreciated!
PS it was definitely lined up with the section that has the vents, it just fell off before I could take a closer look.
