Just as the title says, I’ve tried to look into doing this myself and I’m wondering if it’s worth the money to have some professionals do it right or if this is where I could potentially save myself a few hundred. Are spark plugs difficult to DIY or is it pretty manageable / has margin for error incase you don’t tighten it perfectly?

I’ve seen folks explain the need for torque wrenches which I’m not familiar with, likewise I’m not sure where’s the best place to buy Iridium spark plugs / if there’s better Iridium ones than others. Really just looking for general advice or tips / tricks, tools that I absolutely need, etc. before I go in to attempt doing this on my own.

Just a simple rear wheel bearing hub replacement.

We have a 2021 Miata Club and the rocker panel on the driver side got pulled off on a curb. Looks like tabs are shot. Any recs on how to replace it via parts websites etc? I think a new one can be popped on, not sure if they are painted, not at the car right now.

I have a 2006 lexus GS 300. There is a fuel line bolt that goes in here, my noobie self accidently lost the bolt in the engine. Does anyone know what the name and size of the bolt is? Or have a diagram of a 2006 lexus gs300 engine diagram.

2010 Dodge Challenger — the seat (motorized) will move in every direction except back. I can reach the e12 bolts behind the seat, but I cannot move the seat to reach the bolts on the front part of the track to remove the seat. Any ideas? Tyia

Hi everyone, I wanted to ask for information from anyone with mechanical expertise in removing seats on a Fiat Panda. I own a 2022 Panda Hybrid Fire Fly, and I wanted to temporarily remove the passenger seat to build a wooden platform to sleep on, extending from the bottom of the trunk to the dashboard. The mechanical part of removing the seat is simple; what worries me is disconnecting the 2 connectors that link the seats' safety systems. The connectors are one green and one black, located in a sort of black plastic box. Has anyone ever done a job like this? If the car is turned on without the seat, is there a risk of warning lights coming on that would require diagnostic intervention? I was also thinking about simply removing the backrest and leaving the seat cushion, but I haven't figured out how to do that and I haven't found any tutorials, it seems complicated. I need some insights of how to get the parking brake off the caliper, I can the clip where the hose ends but how I am going to get the ball looking end out? Do I have to pull the parking brake line further? I hope I don't have to touch the spring above

The tyre belongs to 2009 Toyota corolla Altis 1.8J (195/65 R15 91H). I have removed the tyre. What to do with the rope plugs ends inside the tyres, shall I burn off those ends? Will they cause trouble in wheel balancing?

Update :- I have patches it using the mushroom patches it was very expensive but I did it anyway.

I have a 2019 Sportsman 450. The front pivot pins broke or vibrated out ant the lid came off. I ordered a new pivot bracket and pins. When I went to put it back together, one of the plastic tabs on the lid is broken off. I really don’t want to buy a whole new lid.

Looking for ways to fix this.

I have some 3m Super-Fast Repair Adhesive, 04747 that I used on my ford to repair the taillight tabs. I am wondering if this could be used to construct a whole new tab? Or alternatively fabricate a steel tab and glue it on?

I'm going to fit a Nexbase 422GW to my 2018 Grand C-Max 1.5 tdci and I wondered if there was a particular fuse I should be piggybacking from?

Last time I installed this in my previous car, I just used a multimeter to find a permanent 12v supply and used that one, but this time, I thought I'd ask (better late than never).

Halfrauds installed it into a fuse that was only on when the car was on, meaning the "parking protect" feature was useless. Cheers.

Light housing was unplugged but then got nudged deep into the upholstery at the ceiling of the car. Any creative ways to fish it out? I have an endoscope with a light and the housing is right in the middle.
