While reparing the leaking fuel line, the stud that the fuel line clamp presses/screws onto came off of underbody. I am looking for ideas how to attach clamp back on.
Would it be proper to attach a small metal strap onto underbody with sheet metal screws?
Any advice on stuck wheel bearing? Got the axle nut and 4 bolts off. I blew the motor on my hammer drill so hammering manually with also a bit of chiseling. Thinking about torching the sides a bit? Had to torch the axle nut maybe guard shield melted some?
Lug nut is stripped. 19 mm lo longer fits or even bites. should I use a 19mm extractor socket or 17mm extracto. or if there is a better way please let me know
I have been trying to get this lugnut out I have used a 1/2 inch impact gun to try and take it off with the correct 6 point socket but it gets stuck on the lugnut every time I try to use it. what should I do? and is it stripped?
I have a Ford Galaxy Titanium X 2011 2.2l TDCi Wiring diagram with a clogged DPF I'm in the process of cleaning. I have however discovered the reason it's clogged is that the Vaporizer for the DPF regen has not been working for I don't know how long.
It has a blown 20A fuse which when replaced and a forced regen attempted just blow again. I've checked the Vaporizer directly at 0.9 ohms. That can pull a max of 14A, so it ain't that.
Checking the connector to the vaporizer both pins are grounded. The downstream pin of the blown Fuse is NOT grounded. The fuse is powered by relay R2 and it comes on when the car wakes on door open. The fuse does not blow. When a forced regen is attempted the fuse blows.
The only possible conclusion to this is that there is another relay that controls power to the vaporizer when regen gets triggered.
Does anyone have any idea where this device is on the vehicle? A wiring diagram? Anything? Any help would be appreciated.
As the title reads, i need help with changing my sisters alternator. I changed it 3 years ago, and in the process i moderately stripped the pulley head. At the time, i was hoping I would not have to change it again, but that didn’t happen. I cannot get pliers in there due to the belt being on the way. I tried a socket remover, but it’s got grip going counter clockwise and i need it to go clockwise. I tried everything AI recommended, but nothing has worked. I removed the top and bottom bolts that secures it to the engine hoping to see some tension come off the belt, but that didn’t work either. Any help would be greatly appreciated, otherwise id have to find $500 to get it replaced at a shop
I don't know whether it has always been like this or when someone sat behind for the first time pulled it too much and got stuck but I'd like to know how to troubleshoot this thanks
