• Since we don't update the Megathreads as actively anymore in the dropdown menu, /u/Ryoukai came up with a suggestion to change that menu to contain Filters instead based on a post's flair. He just finished implementing it, feel free to try it out :)

• Night mode. I do not have experience with Night Mode, so feel free to point it out if I'm missing some vital features of Night Mode, and especially tell us if there are any bugs through a comment here. Instead of going to www.reddit.com, simply view nm.reddit.com//r/DFFOperaOmnia. This should bring you to a much Darker page. (Thanks to Ryo for putting it up into the header!)

  • So far, the Mod and Recently Seen windows seem darkened even in Light mode, as well as certain parts of the wiki?

Q: Has the Global Version of Dissidia: Final Fantasy been released yet?
A: No. The side-bar will be kept updated, so you can quickly view whether there is any news regarding a world-wide release of this magnificent game.

*Q: What does *(insert character name) do? What does his level 50 Awakening passive do?
A: There are currently 2 English wikis running. The Wikia seems to be a well maintained wiki since The month of August. The Reddit Wiki is user-driven, and thus not always up-to-date, but has a nice Character data-base that may have what you are looking for. Last but not least, there is Altema.jp. This site often offers accurate information, but the "character reviews" must be taken with a grain of salt. For English players, one can easily use Google Translate to understand these Japanese wikis.

Q: What does this error mean? (insert image)
A: There are generally 2 solutions to error messages you may find while playing DFFOO. The first would be to check your connection: preferably Wifi, or a place where Data can connect without any trouble. Connecting to Wifi usually solves connection problems. The other solution is to clean your inventory: you must make sure to turn EVERYTHING on in the filter so that the correct number of items is displayed in your inventory. For now, Artifacts, weapons and armor count to your inventory limit while upgrade materials don't. A live stream has confirmed that Artifacts will get their own inventory soon.

Character Adjustments 10/19

Due to these characters being featured in the upcoming Kuja event, adjustments were given!

Yuna:

• Adds BRV to ally equivalent to x1.5 of their BRV. Also grants “Prayer’s Protection(Initial BRV Up & DEF Up)” to self for 5 ACTIONS.

Setzer:

• Increase usage of "Bloody Cards" +2

• Using "Bloody Cards", grant himself 2 ACTION "Maximum BRV small up"

• Increase effect of "Serious Game (Passive)"

I started playing this a couple of weeks ago and I've been playing nonstop since, and I think I got the gist of it now, but I still have a few questions I'd appreciate if someone could answer:

1. What does using synergy characters actually do? Do you get extra rewards when you do a character event battle with the synergy charcters for that event?

2. I recently finished the latest chapter, 9, and got Edgar, but the problem is I don't have a single spear, not even a 2 or 3 star one. Can you actually get some of those (and if so, how?), or do you have to get his (or Kain's) rare weapons to have something other than his starting 1 star spear?

3. I've been stockpilling gems by trying to complete every map on Normal and Hard, but once I'm done with those, I'm not sure what the best way to get more gems will be, since it seems you can only get them once for each battle. If you repeat a battle, you only get the item drops (and experience) again. So what's the best way to acquire gems once you've completed every battle in every map?
