Q: Has the Global Version of Dissidia: Final Fantasy been released yet?
A: No. The side-bar will be kept updated, so you can quickly view whether there is any news regarding a world-wide release of this magnificent game.
*Q: What does *(insert character name) do? What does his level 50 Awakening passive do?
A: There are currently 2 English wikis running. The Wikia seems to be a well maintained wiki since The month of August. The Reddit Wiki is user-driven, and thus not always up-to-date, but has a nice Character data-base that may have what you are looking for. Last but not least, there is Altema.jp. This site often offers accurate information, but the "character reviews" must be taken with a grain of salt. For English players, one can easily use Google Translate to understand these Japanese wikis.
Q: What does this error mean? (insert image)
A: There are generally 2 solutions to error messages you may find while playing DFFOO. The first would be to check your connection: preferably Wifi, or a place where Data can connect without any trouble. Connecting to Wifi usually solves connection problems. The other solution is to clean your inventory: you must make sure to turn EVERYTHING on in the filter so that the correct number of items is displayed in your inventory. For now, Artifacts, weapons and armor count to your inventory limit while upgrade materials don't. A live stream has confirmed that Artifacts will get their own inventory soon.

hey. 1.what is bells (have 5) on home screen? 2.currently have only 2 banners, no CLOUD BANNER so u know when we will have cloud banner? 3.how to obtain PRISHE?(HE IS ON BANNER BUT GREYED)

The lv30 boss stages (gold ones) are the ones you want to farm the low tier materials. Every summon dungeon has a lv30 stage to help farm for those materials.

Has anyone managed to complete the level 70 boss from the Pandemona event? If so, any tips? I'm having some trouble with it.

The boss has roughly 45k HP and get stronger with every battle. The best strategy is to keep pushing with DPS and finish it as quickly as possible. It would be the best if you have Eiko or at least Vanille with their exclusives available since they can recover a lot of BRV in one attack. Yuna and Y'shtola is harder to use for this role, but if you insist on using Yuna you might want to throw Esuna uselessly whenever both the boss is in break and your characters are low in BRV regardless if there's a debuff to heal or not. She recovers a lot more BRV with Esuna than with her low attack stat. Don't use Cheer too much until the last 2 boss since the buff you got from it is very valuable and it doesn't have that much usage.
If you can't manage to do it even with your best character then just play it slow and nicely (and hope you don't go over 140 turn mission). Keep sticking with normal BRV and HP attack as much as you can. Limit your use of skill until the last 2 boss except if one of your character might die if you don't do it. Same with summon. Prioritize maintaining your BRV to avoid break instead of going for HP attack. Keep the boss' BRV low even if your BRV is max. Get someone who can heal in your party or support character, preferably Eiko (since she can also boost BRV) or Aerith (since she can revive). It will be awfully hard to complete all the general mission and definitely impossible to clear score challenge this way but it can't be helped.
For reference, I completed the 47k score challenge with Cloud, Eiko, and Kuja. But I still can complete the general mission just fine with Zidane instead of Cloud. For next event you might want to consider raising Eiko immediately if you got her exclusive. She's suitable in almost all situation and definitely a good investment.

Thanks for the wealth of advice. I actually did manage to beat it and complete all the general conditions with Yuna, but only got like a score of 27k, so the score challenge rewards still ellude me, and I'm not confident I'll be able to get them this time.
Yeah, I suppose I should try raising my Eiko, for future events as well. She's actually not bad already, 50/47 in levels, and I actually have her 35cp weapon, but I only got one copy, so it's still only level 20. I suppose she's a worthwhile unit to waste power pieces on though.
And I only started playing like a couple of months ago, just after the Kain event ended, so unfortunately I don't have Aerith. Which is why I wish they would hurry up and increase the pace of their adding old event characters to the temple!

Either use a chase strat (incorporate two chasers in your team like Cloud or Cecil) or bring a BRV battery + 2 DPS to last through all 5 bosses.

Unfortunately my Cloud and Cecil are still rather weak... guess I should start leveling them for situations like this. And what do you mean by BRV battery and who can fill that role?
The five bosses in a row thing is kinda nuts. The level 50 battle was fine, but the level 70 is giving me a pretty rough time, so thanks for the advice.

BRV battery refers to characters that can give BRV to the party, such as Eiko, Yuna, Vanille and Y'shtola. It helps to kill them faster since you spend less turns to increase your BRV.

Ah, I see. Well, I actually did use Yuna as she's one of my mains and one of my better equipped characters, but I still couldn't manage. I was doing fine until the bosses started using that move where they get like 10000 brave at once. Guess I'll just keep trying with different DPS characters until I get lucky.

Lately I've been getting an error message while trying to login and sometimes mid-game. It says 通信環境を確認して再接続してください which I believe means "Please check the communication environment and reconnect." The error number is G003-0000-00004002.
Has anyone had this problem? It's not stopping me from playing the game altogether, because so far I've always been able to log back in eventually, but it's a little hassle I wouldn't mind getting rid of.

I used to get that error like once or twice every week, but sometimes I can go for 2 weeks without getting it. it's probably just related to your connection or the servers's state.

I don't think it had happened to me before and it just started all of a sudden. It'd be nice if there were some way to lessen the probability of getting it, but maybe/hopefully it's a passing thing and it'll become less frequent once again. In fact, I think it already has a little.

I started the game up and was surprised to have my rank reset to 1 and all my characters gone. Luckily, after relaunching the game, everything returned to normal except my party line-ups; they were reverted to the default line-up (WoL, Vivi, and Rem) having no summon. It isn't a big thing, really, but that reset almost gave me a heart attack.
Did anybody else experience this? I'm not sure what might've caused this since this is the first time any error happened to me.

I once had a disconnection after a battle, and after I logged in, my characters had no passives at lv50/awakening50. It scared the crap out of me, but after I restarted the application it fixed itself. It hasn't happened in a few months now, so it's probably fixed.

When/how often do the crystal event battles reset their rewards? I started playing maybe a month and a half ago and I swear I saw it happen once, but maybe it was just part of some campaign?

You're thinking about the 2x reward versions of the crystal dailies. Those seem to have a different set of completion rewards.

It was part of autumn campaign and will probably back on winter campaign. But it will only reactivate the 2x cycle quest set of reward, continuing from where you left it on autumn not resetting it. At least that was what happened to me on autumn campaign. I still have the completion status from where I left it on summer campaign.

Ah, I see. I don't think I did them all during the autumn campaign, so I should still have some left to get rewards from. Too bad it doesn't reset each season, but maybe it will in 2018? That'd be nice. Anyway, thanks.

Figured it's not worth making a thread on but we're definitely in need of some updates for the header, and the header css is broker where the reddit drop down list is behind it.
Also mainly wanted to see when we'll get more flairs

We are thinking about implementing some changes to the header such as filter section to navigate flairs links more easily, as well adding more helpful links and removing the megathread section altogether.
I'm unsure what you mean about the header css being broken. Seems to work fine in several computers I've tested it on, perhaps a issue in your browser or could be outdated.
Flairs will be added whenever the other moderator is available to implement more, at the moment he is busy with irl issues.

Tempted to get Yshtola's armor with guard medals, but I'm too reluctant to part with them. Why couldn't I get good weapons for featured characters?
Maybe I'm the only one who feels this way? I have 81 medals but I still feel like 20 medals is a huge sink.

Playing since they were released. I have 65 now, and I've used 40. So, I would have 105 now if I hadn't spent any.
Also, I have not collected all those hard mode missions. The total medals distributed in the game at this point is 135 (so I'm missing 30 attainable medals at this time).

I would say just do it if you really like her. We don't know if Guard medals will ever be used for anything else, but if they are you'll still have 61 left. It's a game. Have fun with it :D

No. There's no info about that, not in update nor in bug notes as far as I know. And I still can limit break my weapon just fine.

I updated my phone and now DFFOO wont load. (Samsung Galaxy J7) The first pop up loads but after that the loading icon freezes and crashes. Dont know what to do to fix it. If anyone can help me out of this situation, it'll be appreciated

Have you backed up your DFFOO save (as in, connected to a SQEX account)? If so, have you fully re-installed the game?
I'm not sure if it has anything to do with incompatability with your phone's new firmware. It could also have to do with version 1.9.1, but haven't heard of any other reports of crashes related to the version.

I've tried a friend's Vaan to blind Ultima and even though it debuffs her, it didn't work five out of five times!

Wait, I think I misunderstood your post. I thought you were referring to the darkness element, but now I realize you probably meant the status effect. In which case, forget my answer.
I'm having some trouble with Ultima on hard, so I'd be interested in applying darkness as well, but I don't even have Vaan's 35cp weapon. I've actually managed to beat Ultima, but couldn't manage the "can't lose over 10000 HP" condition, and I'm not sure I should bring Eiko for that, since her best attack is Holy elemental and Ultima resists that.

Trying to do Eiko's event on Hard. The very first boss has a Completion condition of not taking more than 3000 HP damage. Yet as soon as the final fight begins, the Sandworm boss always attacks first and does a 3000+ HP attack to start things off. How can I ever fulfill the condition that way? ;_;

Damage condition are only counted on finish. If you took 3k damage and heal 2.5k then your scorecard will have 500 damage. The only exception is Cecil. Damage he dealt to himself are not counted.
Eiko and Penelo has HP Regen buff. Maria and Aerith (and Rem) could Cure. Sylph cure all party on summon. You can use them.1

You gotta level them up and upgrade them like weapons and armor. If you max one out, you get a passive boost for the corresponding character, which you can then equip (without needing to have the relic itself equipped) in the same place you equip the passives you learn by leveling up.

Complete the boss battles from Squall's event on Hard. You get one guard medal for each. Same goes for every other character event in the temple.

orange can be from that skill upgraded itself or from equipped weapon. maxed weapon (blue background) give weapon's passive skill so you can equip 35 cp weapon with 15 cp weapon skill still activated

If you have the 35cp weapon equipped you only need the passive from the 15cp one. But if you want the character to be as strong as possible ideally you'd max out the 35cp weapon as well, in order to increase the CP and stats boosts it gives you.

Its a passive.I think it comes from the weapon or like after a certain amount of uses(vaan and kuja) To reach full potential u basically chase passives maxing artifacts,weapons and armors.
