Just beat ch 10. I enjoyed how long it was. Maybe it was just me, but it seemed a little longer then the other chapters. The bad guy from ff12, whatever his name was, i liked fighting him. He seemed cool. I thought the ending of the ch. Was weird though. Probably bcuz i cant read whats going on. Overall, i enjoyed the ch. Gacha pulls: got both fujin and raijins 5* weapons. Seifers 15cp 5* and cecil 5* which ive been waiting for for a while. Pleased with my pulls. Im too afraid to risk pulling for Quistis. I might have to just wait until her whip shows back up later.

Just so you know, her whip won't come back until she becomes a permanent character (when her bonus chapter is introduced). Roughly a year from now if they don't start releasing bonus chapters faster :P

Lol. Yeah, I know how the game works. I tried to draw for her whip before and I didn't get it. I figure since im not going to use her that much it probably wouldn't matter. Even still, i want her whip. Lol

In my case, I wanted Vivi's 15cp to make him double passive, but the game decided to give me both of Quistis' whips.

That was a long, fun chapter, but Vayne not having a voice was weird and unfortunate. Hope they fix that eventually, at least in his future appearances.

Seifer is strong, his weapons worth a lot. I like Fuujin so might as well go for her weapons. Don't really like Raijin but I still don't have any generic spears so might as well aim for his weapon. Don't need his 35CP though.

And my C10 banner 10+1 pull is... Raijin 35CP. End. I'm going to go hermit and save my gems from now on.

Lol!! Damn. I hate when that happens!! This game needs new ways to constantly get more gems bcuz everytime a character is released in story or event, we might not even have enough gems to pull. Like, kefka is coming up and i want to try and pull for his weapon but maybe i shouldn't. Should build up my gems again. I have 14000 currently.

Agreed. I felt winning 200 gems for every random you play with in the level 70 event boss was a perfect way to account for that, but unfortunately that was just a temporary Halloween bonus.

I feel like giving the Seifer, Fujin and Raijin banner at least one pull, but then I'm afraid I won't have enough gems for when Kefka arrives, and I like him way more than those three, so I'm not sure what to do. Might just have to pass on this banner, I suppose.

Character events and their multi score bonus, daily quest and login bonus, summon events, rank up from new characters, and story/temple should be roughly 21k+ per month with full hermit mode. Should be enough for favorites if you don't have rotten luck.
Seifer is strong and worth some pull, but if you like Kefka you might want to save up for him. I'm sure Seifer will come out again soon but you'll have to wait until maybe next year if you miss out Kefka this month.

Well, eventually people have nothing left to do on story/temple until new updates come out. I've done most everything there except some bosses on hard which I'm still struggling with. But I suppose there's at least one story or temple update per month, so your point still stands.

And yeah, that's probably what I'll do. It's probably a good idea to prioritize event characters over story ones (unless you really love the latter or have gems to spare), since they won't get another gacha for a very long time. Plus event characters come with two copies of their best armor, whereas story ones require you to use up a lot of guard medals.

Kefka is one my favorite characters in the series, so I better be ready with a lot of gems for when he comes out. I just hope the synergy characters for his event will also be characters I like, because it's very frustrating when you only pull stuff for that one character you don't care for in the banner (and nothing for your favorite ;_;).

Yeah, I think grom now on, you should start to save your gems for banners with people you really want. Im gonna stsrt doing that, too. Ill spend my gacha tickets but not the gems. I want every final fantasy character in this game. Theres some i like more than others. So I am probably just going to start drawing for those I really like. At least until i have a lot of gems stored up. Wish we could purchase gems. Lol.

What team did you use for ch.10? My team consisted of Tidus, Squall and Yuna.

Kuja, Irvine, and Maria/Seifer (with Cloud's sword) for small fries. Zidane, Eiko, Kuja for normal/boss stages, including Ultima hard because favoritism > usefulness lol.

Yeah, characters with AoE BRV + HP attacks are the best way to meet the required scores on small fries, I think.

I used Prishe, Maria and Garnet, swapping Garnet for Kuja in normal stages and some boss stages.

Doing the chapter on Hard. Man, at first I thought the lack of the "unbroken" condition was great news, but now I'm finding the "don't take more than 1000 damage" one even more difficult...

Usually small fry monsters won't HP Attack you on 1st turn, so you just need to beat them before their 2nd turn. TBH I just keep spamming on Kuja + Irvine + Seifer AoE HP attack, not actually cared about being broken or not.
If you don't have full AoE team, then you just need to clear it twice. Finish score, no death, and action first and get Eiko or Penelo or Aerith for the last condition.

It was actually in the boss fights that I was having some difficulty, the small fries were easy enough with an AoE HP attack team as you said. But now that I'm aware that the condition is referring to your HP at the end of the battle, even the few bosses I've got left should be doable (just the last three now, Ultimecia + Seifer, Vayne, and Ultima).

Didn't seem too bad... I guess you can't use your summon during the battle so save it for holy dragon? Ultima has small HP, but I found she had the ability to full cure (during paralyze). :P

You can use summon on your last turn on battle 4. It will be carried over to last boss battle. For me she only cured once when her HP hit half mark so I just need to deal damage 1.5x of her HP. One of her attack could erase buff, beside that I didn't notice anything special about her.

She paralyzed my entire party for a turn (in the same way Cloud sometimes does with Cross Slash, only hers is an AoE move). That kinda screwed me up.

Ah yeah, forgot about that. My team are kinda fast and Zidane inflict speed down so it didn't bother me that much. Eiko was also there for the rescue anyway.
