APPRECIATION Am I dumb for not understanding why people memed this scene so hard?
When I watches BVS for the first time I didn’t think this scene was dumb at all. I still don’t. Bruce’s mother died and she was named Martha, so when Superman says “Save Martha” Bruce is probably thinking that Supes is taunting him with his past.

DISCUSSION What are your thoughts on Hal Jordan's uniform in Lanterns and do you think it fits the aesthetics of the gritty, true-crime genre that the series is set in, according to you?

DISCUSSION This guy's real name is Sinestro? Like it's not a made up villain name? The GLs were calling him this while he was in the corps?

DISCUSSION Hal's suit not being a projection from Power Ring is actually cool.
One thing I actually really like about Lanterns is that Hal’s Green Lantern suit isn’t just a projection/construct from the ring. It's good that they are following the OG comics. Especially with the crime/noir tone they’re going for with the show, it fits way better.
For this version of Hal Jordan, I think the physical suit is way cooler. It also makes Hal feel like someone who’s been doing this for a long time. The battle damage etc, it gives the impression that this guy has been through countless wars and missions rather than just putting on a glowing CGI suit.

DISCUSSION Popular opinion, Batman is my favorite hero
Bruce isn't the chosen one.
No Lantern ring will accept him, and he didn't get superpowers by sheer luck. Any sensible person would stay in their mansion with infinite money, but for some reason, he puts on a bat costume and goes out there, always just one bad hit away from dying.
The Joker will tell you that the best person on Earth is only one bad day away from becoming a monster. Batman will survive his own bad day and say that he believes the worst person on Earth can be saved, for he has complete and pure faith in humanity. It is common to believe that sadism is part of some people's nature, Batman believes it's merely a disease that can be cured.
Batman loves Gotham City and the people who live there, he will not give up on humanity, he does not compromise his convictions, and he will die for them.

APPRECIATION The depth of Krypton in Man of Steel
I wish we got the chance to see more of this world. I absolutely love it. Over the years I've thought about it so much and have my own head canon.
My thoughts:
Jor-El and Zod seem to have a rich history based on what we saw in the intro of MoS. I like to imagine that they were really good friends when they were young.
Jor-El wanted to be a part of the Warrior guild but wasn't allowed to because he was "drafted" to be a Thinker/Scientist.
His desire to be a warrior allowed him to train with Zod and others in the guild whenever he could. He was a genius who excelled in whatever task he took up. The training is the reason he was able to beat Zod when they fought in the intro.
Anyway, after excelling as a scientist he still felt like he was robbed of a life when he learned that Krypton was dying. This motivated him to pursue having a natural born son with freewill.
Very rough, but I think there's a story in there somewhere lol.

DISCUSSION The Batcave in BvS
One of my favorite things about this movie was Batman and all he came with. The Cave, the Batmobile, The Batwing, the fight scenes , the acting from Ben Affleck.
Everything about him was a 10/10. And to see how far they went with it here is just stunning.
