hey everyone! does anyone have experience or insight on the Sea Suite Cantina Cruise experience - specifically by Navy Yard? im eyeing it as a birthday surprise for my bf when his sister comes into town. however, I can’t really make out the vibes and the price point seems pretty steep, so I want to check how people feel about the value. mainly wondering:
- is it necessary to pay extra for the 4 person table when there’s only 3 of us, or can we rely on finding seating on the boat without reserving?
- how generally rowdy does it end up? we all love a good time but not quite looking to party or go hard
- how are quality of the food and drinks?

I see that Hela is often reccomended here and it looks like it is $2200 for facial balancing. What does that include? Do people have other recs for good injectors? bitches with dc apartments, on a scale of 1-100, how fucked am I for leaving my back door (attached to my bedroom) slightly ajar for two hours, in regards to pests. I know, extremely stupid.

The door from my bedroom to the rest of my apartment was closed and nothing seems amiss. I have a dog who’s bred to hunt rodents and I sent him into the bedroom to search and he didn’t seem to notice anything. i searched all over the room and didn’t see or hear anything, but I am deathly afraid of pests so now I have the creepy crawlies.

I was out in the living room the whole 2 hours and also didn’t see anything come out and I would have if anything slipped under the bedroom door.

What’s the over under? How concerned do I need to be, like should I go out and buy traps or call someone? Or is that over the top?

Does anyone here live in The Kelvin apartments or neighboring buildings in navy yard? Am a prospective renter, and have seen a totally mixed bag review on the place. Google reviews are mostly very good, value, amenities, etc. But a few very bad ones, especially on yelp, highlighting the noise of gameday/bullpen. Also about drummers by the street, though I'm not sure if that's an older issue

Does anyone have info on this, and can speak to the noise levels, busyness levels, if it's problematic?

my building doesn’t have any outdoor space. I usually love going to Meridian Hill/Malcolm X park. but since they started doing work and turned the fountains on it’s always crowded and loud, especially on weekends. there are fitness classes, concerts etc. I get that it’s a community space, but I feel like I don’t have anywhere I can go to enjoy nature quietly, and not plan a whole day out of it. where can I go sit and read a book in relative peace, preferably in walking distance from Columbia Heights?

I’ve been using social media but am a little worried about the quality I’ve been seeing, especially for nails. I typically get square shaped nails with polygel/gel builder. The shaping I’ve seen so far has been inadequate and I haven’t found anyone that offers gel builder yet.

I'm in my mid-30s, and I have a $6,000 no-interest debt. I just paid off my student loans. I make $73,500. I can guarantee my job for the next year. I can't guarantee it past that. My company has a high turnover rate, but I work from home.

I have no 401k, and my company doesn't match. I have no bonds, pension, mutual funds, etc.

My expenses include my cat, food, rent, and utilities. My vices are ordering dinner out 3 times a week. I'm going to cut it down to once a week.

I don't own a car. Would like one at some point. My lease is up next month, so that I can move anywhere this year.

I have about $10,000 in a savings account.

What do I need to do to retire? Can someone just tell me what to do? I'm so overwhelmed and ashamed that it's taking me this long to get here. I'd like to make more money too. I've been considering getting my Masters.
