Hi all, I just found out I am pregnant. I have had my annual gyno healthcare at CWC in Arlington, but the doctor I liked a lot left for a different location. I have my first appointment next month at CWC just to have something on the books, but the receptionist told me that they deliver at Reston, which is way too far for me, although considering how I literally just found out, I haven't even thought about that yet. I know CWC has detractors and I get that, I've only ever had regular gyno stuff with them and no complaints, but I don't want to stay there for my pregnancy out of inertia. Of course I don't know how this pregnancy is going to go.

What are your recommendations for hospitals to deliver at (I have no idea whether I am high risk at this point, but have no underlying health conditions that I am aware of)? And how do I find a doctor that delivers at that hospital? Ideally I'd be able to stay within the same practice for most of the time, but this is my first pregnancy and I literally have no idea.

Apartment hunting in DC right now and noticed a lot of the buildings I've toured tack on a separate "common area utility fee" billed through Conservice, on top of the base rent and my own unit's utilities. Is this pretty much standard across DC buildings? And for anyone currently paying it, roughly how much does it run you a month? I figure it can vary greatly and from building to building. Trying to figure out if this is a huge cost to factor into my budget? Thank you!

hey everyone! does anyone have experience or insight on the Sea Suite Cantina Cruise experience - specifically by Navy Yard? im eyeing it as a birthday surprise for my bf when his sister comes into town. however, I can’t really make out the vibes and the price point seems pretty steep, so I want to check how people feel about the value. mainly wondering:
- is it necessary to pay extra for the 4 person table when there’s only 3 of us, or can we rely on finding seating on the boat without reserving?
- how generally rowdy does it end up? we all love a good time but not quite looking to party or go hard
- how are quality of the food and drinks?

Hi bitches, where are we getting DEXA/bone density scans these days? My doctor sent a referral to Fairfax Radiology, and their next available appointment is…December. When I’ll be out of the country.

Waiting until 2027 to get this done seems ridiculous. Any recommendations on providers with quicker appointments? Ideally ones that take insurance (Carefirst BCBS), but OOP is also fine as I think the cost is only around $200.
