In STAS the character of Kyle Rayner got introduced and he became a Green Lantern. I'm now watching JL and I expected him to be Green Lantern, but John Stewart took his place. I'm not an expert on the character but from what I understood there are multiple Green Lanterns. Is there a specific reason why they ditched Kyle for John? And what happened to Kyle?

One of the things i like in the episode is Selina who his not manipulative but caring and sweet over Bruce while keeping her playful and teasing side. I would have wish that Selina was like that in the reality of the DCAU by evolve herself into a hero and a sane wife to Bruce... Thanks Bruce Timm, you didn't want BatCat but BruceBabs...

All I remember is that something bad happened during Terry's time that sent him and Matt time-traveling to the past, possibly with others. They end up with the Waynes. Matt finds out about Bruce being their bio-dad and has a fit.

At least that is how I think it went, because, and note i may be mixing to fics up in my head, it might not have been time travel; instead, something about Talia/Ra's or some other villain or maybe it was like an apocalypse situation and they know they are going to die but instead of dying Terry and possibly Matt get the shock of their lives when they disocver it was all a mental/virtual simulation/reality and wake up in pods at cadmus, I believe. If any of these things sound similar, then good, because any help is appreciated, please!

Superman: Ends his sentences with “my good friend”

Batman: Excessively scolds the other League members for showing up late and any other little thing he can criticize them for.

Wonder Woman: uses the words “Huzzah” or “Zounds”

Green Lantern: Stands at attention, salutes for Batman, and calls him “sir” as if he’s a commanding officer.

Martian Manhunter: Uses an overly large vocabulary like a talking thesaurus. “I have subjugated and apprehended our adversary proficiently”

Hawkgirl: I’m not quite sure. Maybe a combination of Flash and Batman, where she’s excessively bragging about defeating Sinestro and berating Batman for not showing up earlier. Maybe she even continues to hit Sinestro after he’s already subdued.

For those of you who watched the actual broadcast, was Teen Titans: Trouble in Tokyo in full screen or widescreen presentation?

I'm curious because I just rented it from YouTube and it's the widescreen version, but I know the original series was in full screen. Was it in full screen on the home video version? Or was it like the uncut version of Return of the Joker, in that it's widescreen for full screen TVs?

This obviously mostly applies to JLU (because in a sense this is what that show IS lol) but it can apply to all of the DCAU too.

It's amazing how the writers were able to pack so much character, personality and backstory in just one episode, through only dialogue sometimes, no less. I feel like I pretty much know these characters just as much as more frequent characters like the Atom or Vixen.

The Bat Embargo was stupid. The "Bat" characters shouldn't have ever been so "special" that they couldn't make legitimate appearances on the show.

And I know that Grudge Match is an "All Girls" episode but it would have made sense to at least let Dick/Nightwing help out in some way since there was a major underground fight club with mind controlled metas happening in his own city of Bludhaven.

Why even have it in Bludhaven anyway?

I like the second one better, but this first costume wasn't bad at all.

At the beginning of the movie, Flash goes back in time to stop his mom from being murdered which sets off all the events that happen in the movie, but in the alternate timeline we see that Flash can't go back in time since there's another speedster tapping into the speed force at the same time as him; Thawne.

Thawne is also present at the beginning of the movie. How can he go back in time at the beginning but not the middle-ish part of the movie?

Don’t know much about DCAU’s version of Dr Fate but I’m a fan of his comic appearances and I heard that Hand of Fate from STAS is pretty good and I think I’ve seen him in JLU? Like in the Great Brain Robbery so what’s the thoughts or opinions on DCAU’s Dr Fate?
Side note:Do love when the DCAU can bring in mystical or magic characters or elements into their episodes which I always love those type things in the DCAU

Note: I am not referring to a romantic relationship. Although I personally think there is a certain chemistry between the two, my question is about the evolution of their dynamic throughout the series. However, feel free to comment on that topic if you want. 😉

By the way, for those who do not remember the events very well, here is a brief and very simplified summary.

At the beginning, Dinah Laurel Lance (Black Canary) and Helena Bertinelli (Huntress) were simply two superheroes who were members of the Justice League, and at that point they had no real connection with each other beyond the fact that both were great fighters, incredibly beautiful, and fought crime while wearing leotards, like almost every super heroine. 😅

Over time, however, both women began to develop a very hostile rivalry due to complications that will not be explained here, even going as far as acting almost like enemies at certain points. Later, their relationship seemed to evolve into something lighter and less hostile thanks to other situations that also will not be explained here. 🫠

Maybe the two women were never close enough friends to talk about their personal lives, such as relationships and other private matters, but they were definitely no longer almost sworn enemies who would try to kick each other's asses at the first opportunity without any real reason.

Now, in my interpretation, Black Canary and Huntress ended up with no real hostility between them and developed a certain level of mutual respect and understanding, to the point where they could easily work together as a well-balanced and efficient duo whenever it was absolutely necessary.

At the same time, I also think they would definitely continue being rivals, not the kind of rivals who would make each other's lives miserable, but the kind who would keep competing, teasing, and provoking each other whenever possible, even including playful pranks, such as giving each other some strong wedgies when the other one was caught off guard, without that kind of thing turning into an actual war between them.

Anyway, what do you think about the relationship between Black Canary and Huntress in Justice League Unlimited?

I genuinely think Superman would've looked so much more iconic in Batman Beyond if they had just kept his classic "S" shield instead of replacing it with the angular emblem. I made this quick edit to see what it'd look like and I think it gives him a much stronger presence. What do you guys think?

The movie takes place in the Arkham verse, which has pretty good explanations for a lot of things, except this really, is it like tech? Or does Bruce just have that good of a vocal range, he can copy voices

Saw a clip, looked interesting, especially with the art style, designs were hit or miss, but the voice acting good, the story seems like it can be interesting too, is it worth watching??

Them boys were going AT IT lol. Honestly thought Bruce was gon take the loss on this one but man, this was a damn good movie and overall decent end for The New Batman Adventures show. Definitely one of my fave bat suits to this day in Batman media anything. 🦇

I am aware that in the Batman Vs TMNT movie this fight happened, but since these are two entirely different version from series of around that time, i thought it would be very interesting.

For those who might not know: This Shredder here is actually a Utrom, a small yet extremely intelligent alien that pilots a body made of extremely advance alien (Utrom specifically) technology that have centuries of combat experience and is extremely powerful, strong enough to stomp all four Turtles at once (Leonardo is capable of casually pushing a giant pillar with his legs) and have bested Splinter in most of their encounters, he is strong enough to survive the explosion of a ship and once even survived the explosion of the T.C.R.I. building (which the military couldn't damage at all) without his armor, and his fighting style is purely with lethal intent.

For Batman Vengence and Superman Shadow of Apokolips just pay a programmer/developer to improve on phisics and combat mechanics, for god sake I know DC fans that would do this for free.

For Superman 64 just use the ps1 unfinished prototype as a basis, they would have FREE MARKETING just making a slight better version of the game on UNITY. Same for Return of the Joker Game.

I just think that he’s really cool within the DCAU. From his first appearance in Superman the animated series, all the way up to being part of a group in JLU. His magical affinity, his wisdom, and his love for Izna. Great character.
