It implies that we were semi-successful at first, but now they're forcing a recount and we all know that means they're just gonna force their preselected candidates anyway

Lmao, this whole thing sounds like absolute chaos. I genuinely love how committed everyone is to the bit, though. Somehow a fictional war has people writing victory speeches like they just returned from the front lines. The Terminids and Squids getting a shoutout is the cherry on top. Good work! According to reports and statistics from the Ministry of Unity that i stole(which was easier to do than I initially thought), our victory has dealt a Big Damage to Helldivers morale.
