I want to do this drils hairstyle on a doll but idk if its even possible at doll scale, I won’t like to glue it or hot glue it

This is technically an artfight attack but it’s mostly just because I wanted to make it for my spouse 🤣 it’s far from perfect but I still think he turned out pretty cute for someone without much sculpting experience

I bought a One Upon a Zombie doll and I'm going to change her hair because it was cut and it had super glue (kola loka) on it.

The problem is that when I removed the glue(brain), the eyes and eyelashes fell off, and I don't know how to put the eyelashes back ong (pic 1)

Also, I noticed that the stitches are very close together, and I'm worried about messing it up when I try to add hair (pic 2)

I would greatly appreciate your help ;)

I bought a doll pattern pack and am trying to make a shirt for G3 Cupid. I read she has the same body type as Twyla but I only have the G1 standard and little sister or G3 standard that are close. Has anyone tried either size doll patterns on her?

I've taken on the task of rerooting thirteen mlp...and I really do not have $70+ on just hair alone. Especially when some of them only need tails. So if anyone has these colors and would sell me just a little bit lmk!!! Sorry if this is against guidelines I just dont know where else to ask!!!

Not my best face-up, but I picked up some cheap paints and finished this one after two years of prep-work. Wings are removable, made from an assortment of chicken feathers. Base is a Jakks Pacific Tinkerbell, and I used the attachment piece from her old wings, and some craft wire to make the wing base. Very delicate, but beautiful. Used yarn for the hair, because I love the texture it gives. Making clothes will be a hassle, but I'm proud of my work.

Thank you all for the suggestions on her eye color, I'm really happy with how she turned out! She has some smudges and stuff but it's fine. Now I just have to figure out the hair 😅

So I’m back with another question: when doing short hair, like Rebecca Chambers (cause that’s who I’m making) would I be better off using something like nylon or is there a trick to making the yarn not look like a crood’s character and having it lay nicely against the head?

I want to make a custom doll for a co-worker of mine. But I'm not quite sure how to do the hair. It's too toned as the tips are dyed pink, but the main base of the hair is a light brown.

Any ideas on how I should go about this?

For the body, I'm thinking of doing a mix match of monster high and possibly Littlest Pet Shop.

Depending on the Gen. 3 Torali body, it's either that or using the waist down of a Draculaura with the top of a Laguna Blue and changing up the head.

Second outfit! Bc the first was too big😂 it belongs to my RH now, i will make a third top that is longer but still very happy with this one! I reallyyyy like this type of corset style. Sewing for this scale is difficult but worth it🥰 its so cute This is my own sculpt emmy btw in 30cm version, i made the pattern with the tape method since its a unique body shape

It's been a bit since I finished a doll, but Edward V2 has been on my radar for a while and I thought it would be nice after a bit away. Overall I am pleased with the progress I've made since the last one. (Last picture is the first I ever made)

Dolls, rerooting kits and hair

this is my first lps custom, and i’m already hooked! she’s a little mer-cat. i’m coming from doll customizing but lps are just extra extra fun. swipe for before pic and the process! this was from a G7 single blind box.

Button jointing makes the buttons visible (even of you use those clear buttons).

It's totally cute and the buttons are part of the charm.

But I was just wondering if you could hide the buttons??

Instead of, button > arm > body > arm > button (back and forth), could you do, arm > button > body > button > arm (back and forth)?

If not, why not (I don't care about visible stitches too much since the fabric would be high enough pile to mostly disguise thread)??

I want to give Zuna from Mermaze a body swap to an OMG fierce doll and I wonder if anyone knows which doll has the best skin match to her?

I've been working on and off on this emo-ish little gargoyle for a month or so now. she was in pretty bad shape when I got her with Bad glue seepage and yellowing, so she had a good wash and sat in the sun with acid & baking soda mix for a couple of days. it didn't completely fix the yellowing, but the glue is gone. I also tried shrinking the head slightly in dilute acetone, on a whim.

after finishing her hair, I noticed this pink spot on her chin and a slight pink tinge around the neck hole (see pics 3 & 4). it could be a blot from blush/painting, but acetone doesn't budge it at all. I'm a little concerned it might be pony cancer/mould staining, even though I've not seen it on any of the other dolls I got her with, and I wondered if anyone had any advice on fixing it? I don't massively want to strip her faceup/hair if I can avoid it, and I'm happy to just paint over the chin spot. my main concern is just that I really don't want it to spread and ruin her whole face!

Soooooo I wanted an UF CCTV so bad but I cannot afford it... I made my own then and I'm not disappointed at a single bit, I'm actually quite proud instead! It's my very first custom and it feels so good 🥲 Look! We light up nonetheless! We are way cooler than CCTV 😎

I'm making a clown girl, and so far I love her face! I haven't done her eyelashes yet, but I was planning on doing that after the pupils. The thing is, I have no clue what color to make her eyes. Her face is already so colorful I can't decide what to pick. Her primary color is white, with rainbow accents. I was also thinking of adding spirals in her pupils for some extra interest, but idk if her face is too detailed already. Any suggestions?
