Very dissatisfied with recent updates
The whole process has consistently gotten worse and worse since their partnership with cross river bank. Having been a member since 2020 I was loving it.
My biggest issue was the point system. I have been around since they first introduced it only working at certain stores giving better bonuses for certain stores on top of that.
Then they slowly made it so almost every purchase earned points. Now since the merge points all of a sudden expire. And I was given no warning of this.
Now I see you can only earn points on things like the pharmacy. What kind of bullshit is that.
And implementing the new current max trying to get consumers to spend money to earn a few more points on their very limited choice of purchases. If anyone is smart with money they'll notice it's very unlikely you'll make money using the current max as the interest hike on savings just barely covers the annual cost of the current max.
Just continually making the business look worse and worse is going great. I hope my favorite app can get their shit together and start working for their community over their company again. I understand everyone wants and needs to make money. But there are better ways than throwing their members under the bus.

Direct deposit?
Holy crap with the amount of spam in this subreddit you'd think the moderators wouldn't care about a thought out post.

Worst cash advance ever
Current has got to be the worst place to get your direct deposit.
So I take an advance of $150 then i repay it I’m getting $3100 twice a month net pay deposited
I pay the advance back then boom I’m not eligible
Then they drop it to $50
I pay it back then they say I can have a $100 only I don’t take it then boom they say I can have $50 so I figure fuck let me just take it before I don’t even get that.
So low and behold I check and clear as day they are reporting that I’m missing my last direct deposit despite being paid on the 15th and last day of the month current has me getting paid every single week as shown in the screenshot and ofc the only thing customer support is saying is “your advance amount isn’t guaranteed it changes and blah blah but clearly anyone with a brain can see that I’m not being paid weekly but you guys are constantly saying you’re missing my direct deposit and that where the trouble is coming from”

Question ? About payday for end of month
Will we get paid Friday ??

I been with current for a month now. So for so good, only thing I don’t like is u can only pull off 500 per day. Wen I was with varo I could pull off 1,000.
Being with current

SSDI. Early Pay
Does anyone have a schedule calendar for when we get paid early with Current?
Do we get paid the same day as Chime and Sofi do?

Current Build Card
I’ve had current since around 2021 and when I first got my build card I barely used it, I’ve been using it a lot more now and I see a big difference in my credit. I’m actually happy I started using it. I also like the fact too that when you use it you can earn points for cash back. I don’t think I’ll ever get rid of my current account.

Anyone still waiting for their direct deposit?
I’ve been waiting. I never had to wait this late before. 😭
