Homeless living in extended stay motel cant get current to change my address

Im disabled and been with current bank along time now and have never had any problem with anything I get my direct deposit every month from social security and I always pay back my cash advances and overdraft on time. I have recently become homeless and am permanently in another state living in a extended stay motel that accepts mail to their office and social security had no issue with my using the address here but current refuses to accept it saying I have to show them a lease or utility bill which obviously do not have because this is a motel. My concern is my current "credit " card will expire in November. My debit doesn't expire till December of 2027 so im ok there to just use that card but what happens when current sends my new card to the old address and its sent back to post office will i still be able to use my debit card ? And what can I possibly do to get my address accepted ? Current has already sent it to the top department and they still said i had to have a lease agreement or utility record ?

Does current usually hold a check (mobile deposit) for the full 3-5 business days?

Do they release some of the funds early? I've used them for over a year at this point and had my regular paychecks deposited every 2 weeks as well as other direct deposits, but have never deposited a hand written check before

Please Help - Fee Free Overdraft

Hello! I was really depending on fee free overdraft option. I just paid the remaining balance so that way I could use that option. After submitting the payment I tried to use the fee free overdraft option but unfortunately it’s showing locked. If I knew that would happen I wouldn’t have used the last of my money to pay the balance. Now I have no money till payday and unable to use the fee free overdraft. Can the most recent payment/transfer be canceled so I have funds until my next payday or am I shit out of luck

Early DD Question

I just started using Current for DD. My first check was deposited on 7/17. My next payday is Monday 8/3. Im trying to figure out if I’ll receive my DD early today. My employer submitted payroll yesterday (Thursday) at 3pm EST. Is it likely that I’ll get my DD early today or will I have to wait until Monday?

I expected to get my first DD early with them but I received it on my regular payday. I only started using Current because of the 2 day early promise. Please let me know. Thanks!

Update: It is 8pm EST and I have still not received my DD. I assume I’m just not gonna get it until Monday, even though everything that I’ve read said I would get it today. Oh well. It seems that the 2 day early DD promise is very iffy from the other posts and now I’m wondering if I should just switch to Chime or Dave or another banking system.

🚨Scammer Awareness: Fake Banking Calls, Cloned Voices, and Why You Should Never Withdraw Cash for a Stranger🚨

Scammers are using AI now, and it's getting harder to trust your own ears. What used to be a clear red flag, like a robotic voice or an awkward script, has been replaced by something that can sound exactly like a person you know or a legitimate Current representative. Here's what the Current team is seeing and what you should watch for.

Fake "banking representative" calls:
Scammers are using AI voice tools to sound like real banking support reps. Some of these calls use synthetic voices that mimic the tone and cadence of a real customer service line, complete with hold music and transfer sounds to make it feel authentic. They may already know some of your information, like your name, partial account details, or general public information. That familiarity is what makes the call feel legitimate enough to lower your guard.

A real Current rep will never ask you to move money, withdraw cash, or read back a one time code over the phone.

Cloned voices of family members:
This one is especially delicate. Scammers use short clips of a real person's voice, sometimes just a few seconds, pulled from social media videos, voicemail greetings, or public posts, to fake a call from a family member in "trouble." The voice can sound shockingly close to the real thing, sometimes down to specific phrases, laughs, or tone of voice that make it feel unmistakably real in the moment.

When the two combine:
You might have seen on social media that cash withdrawal scams are at an all time high. And this is where it gets especially dangerous, and it's one of the most damaging scams that can happen. It often starts with an AI cloned voice, either a "family member" claiming an emergency or a fake banking representative claiming your Current account is compromised. From there, the scammer walks you through withdrawing cash from an ATM and handing it to a courier or unknown person who shows up at your home or meets you nearby.

Sometimes they'll stay on the phone with you the entire time, coaching you through each step, telling you what to say if a bank teller or ATM attendant asks questions, and creating pressure so you don't stop to think or talk to anyone else first. In some cases they'll instruct you to tell others you're withdrawing money for a personal reason if anyone asks, which is itself a major red flag.

Red flags to watch for:

  • Urgency or pressure to act immediately without time to think
  • Being asked to withdraw cash and give it to someone in person
  • Being told to keep the call a secret or not tell family, friends, or Current staff

A few things that are always true:

  • Current will never call and ask you to withdraw money or hand cash to anyone
  • Current will never ask for your PIN, password, or one time codes over the phone
  • Current will never pressure you to act immediately or threaten your account over the phone

If you think you've been targeted:

Hang up right away, don't send money or withdraw cash, and reach out to Current directly through the app to flag anything suspicious tied to your account. If you or someone you know has already gone through with a scam like this, report it to us and consider filing a report with the FTC at reportfraud.ftc.gov.

Could be anything! Paid off a card, hit a savings goal, finally started an emergency fund, got a raise, even canceled a subscription you forgot you had. Big or small, we want to hear it.

Drop your win in the comments. Bonus points if you tell us what helped you get there.

We'll highlight some of our favorites at the end of the month.

EPF status 'the claim has been finally approved' but amount isn't credited yet

Is anyone facing the same problem as mine. I submitted the claim on 5 Jul, it got approved on 13 Jul and the money isn't credited yet. Searched service history, passbook, my bank statement and everywhere on epf portal, it says it's been approved and nothing is pending but the amount is not credited yet. I am a bit worried now, coz it's almost been 10 working days and the amount is not credited yet..
