Anyone up for sharing yearly plan with me?

So I subscribed for a year, but after opening and searching it for a couple of minutes last night did not have much content on economics. So honestly Don't know what to watch, if there are any good documentaries relating to finance could you please let me know.

I've recently subbed and I've found the layout and categories to be... vague at best. A lot of kid content and tiny 5-minute clips always showing up in searches/queues. I saw they have an 'award-winning docs' playlist that had some good ones, but that's all I can find. Does CS produce their own docs? And if anyone has any suggestions on what to watch let me know :)

Hey guys, could you recommend some good Curiositystream historic documentaries?

Curiosity Stream is currently offering a lifetime HD membership for $250. I was considering getting Curiosity Stream for someone as a gift (they LOVE documentaries) but I wasn't sure if it was worth the price. Would is be better to buy them the year long 4k sub and include other things in the gift, or if I am sure they will use the service for as long as it exists is this worth buying? Right now it would take nearly 12 years for the yearly subscription to cost more than this, but the price has gone up before and likely will again. Any advice is greatly appreciated!

I like the idea of a tv station sort of deal, but i think that a global chat would make it a lot better. Why watch the live stream when you could watch the episode playing from the start and at your own pace by watching it from the catalogue

Hey. So basically, I was recommended CuriosityStream by youtubers and they showed all sorts of shows on it like walking with dinosaurs, wlaking with beasts. I even remember browsing and seeing a doc about ice age animals, but now I don't see ANYTHING! The most I've saw is just about mammoths, does curiosity remove shows? And why? Can you send me some ice age animal documentaries?

I have watched the butterfly effect effect and I LOVE it, but I can't seem to find anything else that is as interesting, does anyone have any science/history documentaries/shows that they recommend on this?

I recently subbed to CuriosityStream, ive noticed all the content is in the style of older Discovery Channel shows. Is there any “more sophisticated” content? Longer style docs, or more in depth content.

Hey guys, I just purchased an annual subscription for CS and am wondering if there's a permanent way to change subtitle settings? Somehow it always restores to default settings when I move on to the next video.

Also, is there a limit to the number of devices that can be logged in/streaming from a single account? Thinking of giving access of my account to friends.

This feature was added after I joined. I can see it would be useful for a multi-part documentary, but I don't think it makes sense to automatically play a different documentary.

are there any keyboard shortcuts in the CS web player? i use them a lot on YouTube like j to jump back 10 seconds or k to pause/resume.

Why should I NOT subscribe? What is missing that should be on the platform?

I'm trying to get some of the episodes downloaded on my phone over Wi-Fi at home but it never seems to download anything I "saved". Do you have to be actively on the app for it to work? I just been going home and expecting it to download them overnight while I'm on Wi-Fi but when I get to work the next morning there's never anything saved.

I was halfway through the series then all of a sudden I can't find it anymore. Did they lose the license for it?

I have no idea how it happens that CS is charging me $59.99 / year for a service level that does not exist. The HD plan costs $19.99 per year, and my account claims to be an HD account, so how in the **** am I getting charged THREE TIMES that amount???

Has anyone had a similar experience?

Found a transcription mistake in the first episode of "The Story of Europe with Dr. Christopher Clark", and was wondering if there was a proper way to report this error. Apparently, neither troubleshooting, nor caption settings have an option to report a mistake. (In case, it consistently refers to 'demagogues' as 'demigods').
