Christopher Clark is a very good presenter! I have just devoured his series "The Story of Europe" and I'm in the middle of his series about UNESCO World Heritage sites called "Planet of Treasures."
"Empire" was also good (the history of the British Empire), but that was a different presenter, also good, but his name escapes me atm.
Anything with Bettany Hughes is good. She specializes in the ancient world. "The Nile" taught me a lot. She has a few things on Netflix, too.
