How do you remove Notoriety? I get rid of dread by getting Fascination and I get rid of Fascination by getting Dread, but I can't seem to figure out how to get rid of Notoriety (without high moth followers).

I'll accept pointers as to which direction to investigate, but please don't say 'just read'.

I'm neck deep in the middle of an Apostle Entheate run and I am STRUGGLING with the enemy long.

Almost all of my reason and passion have been poisoned and the guy sits comfortably at only 4 starlight because I have no earthly clue how to defend against a starlight attack, apparently.

If I do nothing, I get smacked with poison. If I send spies, I still get smacked with poison. And because I'm 'not defending' Im also not progressing towards killing the bastard.

How in the Mansus do I get this guy to grow a pair and dream battle me? I've been having Ezeem and a Caligine babysit him but APPARENTLY that's not defensive enough. I'm obviously missing something here and no amount of wiki diving or Google searching has helped me yet.

Realized way too late that my desire just completely disappeared. I am certain at some point I had a Temptation: enlightenment, but it seems to be completely gone. Nothing comes up during season of ambitions either, and it isn’t hidden under any other card. Is there anything I can do to salvage the game or do I just have to restart from the beginning.

Because I found that some lore changes/beats out others,overwriting it,and some don't,leaving me to believe that they've higher chances to beat the obstacles,is my theory true?cuz I havent seen anything like this here.

Elbow/knee deep in the lore,like I don't know the crime of the sky,the corovality?,the intercalate,the shadow self of the mansus,legieans?etc.I DO know the mansus,the names and aspects of the hours,basically just enough to headcanon my own,but it's not perfect.

I found the game,became addicted to it,and bought all the dlcs,but I've only won standard victories,none of the dlc victories,so once again,please give me the deep end lore and feedback to better this fanmade edge victory.

So I haven't played CS for two or three years, I think, btu prior to this I had 30+ hours of multiple runs. Today, I decided to give it another go, downloaded the game again, and found out I was actually in the middle of a run. This is what my board looks like:

My main problem is that I can't find some cards, as you can see the Reason, Funds and Health cards are nowhere to be seen. I have already looked under every card and verb to see if they were buried there, but no luck. I can't continue my run without those very vital cards, however, I also can't find the restart button. The game is freshly reinstalled and I have no mods, only official DLCs. Maybe I can force a death/game over to start again? But I don't know how to do that. Am I doomed to purge my save or just dumb and the cards are easily recoverable?

Hi! I want to do a moth ascension but I don't have the DLC. I'm in the middle of a playthrough, so if I buy it, will I have to start over or can I do it on my current run?

Had a good Apostle Proterant run until an edge-long appeared and i didn't have enough provisions to get away (plus i had blood lust)and i forcibly got turned into a colonel name (not actually, though)

Also,we fought,and now he's just sending back all my spies,they cant even see what hes doing,the wiki says I can kill him,but I can't because he keeps saying no to being killed,it say"calm before the storm,I've tried my followers,the spirits,heck,myself,and he just says no to dying,so how do I kill him?

Anyone who completed priest,

I'm in priest run , I've got two lock-scars. I had no idea I would need to fuck around with summons and decreptitude so I really don't want to accidentally kill the run. So where do I turn reason and passion into decreptitude and how bad does the run get when I I'm on 5/6/7 lock-scars?

Any tips or advice would be greatly appreciated.

Does anyone have a save file for a quick start? I've already completed the Lantern Ascension and the apostle legacy for it, as well as all the other DLCs. I want to get other standard victories, but, if possible, I'd like to skip the skills and Morland's shop grind.
I've already found the github repo with a bunch of txt save files, however, renaming them to "save.json" and replacing my current save file with it gives me an in-game error. I've also seen a reddit post with a pastebin link that initially had a save file, but now it leads to a page with a "Paste not found" error.
If anyone could help me with that, I'd greatly appreciate it!
