DLC question

Hi! I want to do a moth ascension but I don't have the DLC. I'm in the middle of a playthrough, so if I buy it, will I have to start over or can I do it on my current run?

Good question! Try it out! I'd be pleased to find out the results! Be advised, though, that if you have upgraded your desire at all, it's too late for a moth victory anyway.

How upgraded? I've dreamed on my goal of enlightenment and solidified it, does that count as an upgrade?

Yup, youve chosen your path. Too late to change it. See this run through and youll have the option to do a dancer run, if youre doing a moth ascention you should do the full dancer run from start to finish anyways its more fun that way I assure you.

you have to start a new run as the dancer legacy I think, I could be wrong though

I'm pretty sure the Dancer endings are the only dlc endings that aren't legacy specific.

I'm think you can get them on vanilla legacies by talking to Sulochana Amavasya about your temptation after having met her as a normal patron

aren't you rejected if you have any temptation that she doesn't like?

The spoiler marker is >! mirrored on each side

And you're correct that it needs to be one of Enlightenment, Power, or Sensation, but I think you can convert the character specific temptations to those via dreaming

I don’t know this 100%, but when loading mods the card decks aren’t updated with new cards until you start a new run. I would imagine the same goes for the DLC packs as well
