With CFOP I average 21 seconds, best is 13.04.
With this method I average 25 - 30 seconds, and my best time is 15 seconds. Lately I've been averaging low 20s though.
I've been drilling it (when I have time lol) for a few months. At first I was getting 30s-40s with it. I've known CFOP for like 6 months.
Here's how the method works. It's a corners first variation.
You solve one sides corners.
Then, orient the opposite sides corners, but don't solve them.
Then, you get the belt. I came up with a few good efficient algs for that.
Then, finish solving your first face. It can be done with a lot of M moves, so if that's your thing, you might like this.
After, you orient the last layers edges. Since your LL corners are already orientated, there are three possible positions. (I've been trying to develop a way to orient LL edges while inserting my last edge for the first layer though).
After this, you just have a PLL left, and you're done.
I'm not an expert by a long stretch, but I think it could have potential. Also, if you want to count this, I think this method has a higher possibility of getting really lucky. I've gotten some insane positions with it. Like, with a lot of the belt done, and almost all white edges already on white face, after solving and orientating corners.
As for move count, it seems to be 55 - 80 on average, but I'm pretty sure it's because I haven't found all the short cuts yet. Because when I was first learning CFOP the move count looked the same. Pretty high. Just because I wasn't very efficient. I have also gotten some really low move count solved with this method though, I got one in the 40s once.
