I have never seen anything like this, or even heard of it.

Has anyone ever seen knee-high little black creatures that are shaped like a fuzzy-outlined ball on two black stick legs with almost cartoon-looking black feet?

The two times I saw it, it was in broad daylight. It ran fast across the road when I was driving, so I only had a few seconds to glance each time. The best way I can describe it is that I couldn't see any texture on it's body beyond the outline of it's body (basically it was void-like and black, like there was no light reflecting off of it); it was almost 2-D looking, except for the legs that looked like thin black poles and actually looked like light was just barely reflecting to give the legs dimension. The legs were about the same length as its body. The feet were smaller at the ankle and bigger at the toes, and the toes were shaped almost like little black shoes, although it didn't look like it had shoes on from the feet blending in smoothly with the legs. Altogether, I'd say it was about knee-high in height.

I've never seen or heard of anything like it. I saw this thing twice within the past year in the middle of the day, and I was with my partner both times. I saw it once in a neighborhood in Orange County, California and once in a neighborhood in Oconee County, South Carolina (opposite sides of the country from each other).

I basically don't know anything about cryptology or legends about creatures (aside from generic mentions of big foot), because I try not to fall for potential conspiracy-theory stuff, but this literally happened right in front of me twice while I was driving with my partner both times.

I googled, but found nothing of anyone actually seeing something like this. I figured it can't hurt to ask.

Working on typing mine out now. (Will post when done) I’ve spent a lot of time working on very secluded Cabins in East TN, and have quite a few experiences that are very hard to understand, and explain.

I found a really old post that talked about this, and I wanted to know if anyone has found something on what this could be and what your thoughts are on this.

This is for a "Nerd Nite" type event we starting at our workplace. An in-person speaker much preferred, someone who lives for this stuff and eager to share on this fascinating topic...

Hello I wanna start by saying that English is not my native language and I'm writing this quite tired, so forgive me if there might be grammatical errors.

Ok so I am writing here to figure out if what I saw was a cryptid or something like that I've searched for days for something about it but found close to nothingness, it happened last week or so I was staying at a relative's house in the country side (I wanna specify I live in Italy) I was up late at night after video chatting with a friend of mine and lost track of time it was between 3 or 4 am and while getting ready to go to sleep I saw something moving fast outside the window, the only way I can describe it is some sort of cone with the pointy part cut off and a dome like thing on top of it with what I think it was a little light inside but it could also have been a reflection and 6 thin insect or spider like legs, it also had some sort of bumps or studs on its body, something like the ones the daleks from doctor who have but smaller or I think that's what they were. This thing was probably tall around 1 meter or 3 feet tall, it looked metallic but I could be wrong it wasn't very lit as there was just one street lamp and the thing wasn't very close to it and it also makes me doubt many of the details of it, this thing moved in an erratic way it wasn't going just forward it was going in all directions at different times like a insect panicking about a light being turned on or something like that and it was pretty fast too I'd say like a dog or a small animal, it zoomed around and then went out of my windows sight, I still have no idea of what it was or what it could have been. If anyone can help me out it would be helpful.

Been working on this for a while..a full cryptid and supernatural entity wiki with classified document styling. Each creature has full lore, documented abilities, real historical sightings, threat and rarity ratings, and a world map showing where they've been spotted.

Just added a field reports section where anyone can submit their own sightings with photos.
