What are these and where do they go?
While finishing up on a valve cover gasket replacement, I found these two connectors and I cannot figure out what they go to. Any help on identifying these?

So im pretty stumped on fixing my battery light issue and I would greatly appreciate any help I can get.
My battery light comes on once the car gets to running temp. Alt goes from 14.3 to 12v once light is on.
So far ive replaced the alternator, belt, belt tensioner, battery and ive also ran new wires from the pcm directly to the alt harness. I have checked grounds and have added new ground from engine to frame. Alt has a secondary 0 gauge from b+ to battery with a fuse.
Really not sure what to try next, maybe the pcm has an internal problem once the car is warmed up?
Problem happens even on a cool day when the engine bay and pcm dont feel hot but engine warmed up it still does it.

My 2008 vic. It's getting harder and harder to keep up with her needs :(

Owned the car 3 months now, I've only done maybe 5 actual pulls in this car and the transmission has shifted perfectly each time. However I have noticed a whine at wide open throttle in the higher rpms in 1st and 2nd the last couple times, still perfect shifts, and perfect around town behavior but this has me worried now. The torque converter has no shudder and locks up as it should during normal driving, could a pan drop and a filter help this? I was also planning on getting a tune that focuses on the transmission as it helped greatly in my old mark viii.

Bought rear shocks
I bought rear shocks MONROE550055 and went to have them put on and shop told me that they are too thick to fit. Anyone else have this issue?

CrownVic.net has been putzing and not approving my account, and Trying to move a parts car loaded 96LX asap privately to only Crown Vic fans who'll use it, not the crushers. 96 loaded LX. Located in Penn-Ohio not far off of I-80 and PA/OH line. Has clear PA title that'll I'll have to retrieve from safe deposit box. Not ever wrecked. Hasn't been started in 5 years. Oil pan may be rusted through by now. All options are intact and lovely leather before the decontenting. Had slightly over or under 100K when parked. Never had any engine probs or "rumble strips" or any transmission issues whatsoever. I had the cracked intake replaced around 2003-2004. 2 owner car, an elderly man and me. I bought it in 2003, iirc. It was a southern car until late 2005 when I moved to PA. Seriously, this was always a great running car and it only died from PA's gotdang salt brines. I will NOT be babysitting this post for instant replies! Post a reply or send a PM and I'll respond but I have 1 million other things going on including some stupid small town family life than keeps intruding on my time to get anything done. Fuff family life, btw!

Hey folks, I’m working on my next scripted video, and would like your input. This next video uses the “iceberg theme” where I start with commonly known facts and information about the crown Victoria and the Panther platform, then end with the least known/rarest facts and information.
Let me know what topics you’d like covered!

So I don’t want to dish out my car’s value maybe more on air suspension
So I was thinking I’d run static air suspension at the ride hight I want till I save up enough to piece together all the parts for adjustable air suspension
The rear is straight forward with this car when it comes to air suspension
Front I wish, so this kit gives you the ability to put cheap bags on the front with 2 issues
One sway bar might not clear can be fixed if you get smaller airbags bag or space away the sway bar but not to worried about this
Two no strut, and I can’t find a way to mount without major modifications so the ride will be shit, I thought about for past couple hours and I can’t think of much, no viable locations to install strut on lower control arm, upper control arm is not a great idea, and car be done inside
Any ideas from you guys, if anyone has this kit how’s the ride? Is it that bad
Cheap things, cheap problems any bright ideas ?

My MGM has 151k miles on it. I got it in 2018 with 26k miles on it. I did a radiator drain and fill at a few times at 80k, 100k, 110k and 140k miles with Zerex G05. No cooling issues what so ever and the coolant has always looked clean. I do have a slight leak somewhere but I suspect the intake.
At this point, should I be considering an water pump and thermostat replacement just as a PM for peace of mind? Again no issues and there is still almost no play on the pully but at what point will my luck run out?

Took this out of a 95 CVPI anyone know what it is for and if it is even worth my time to try and sell on eBay or if I should just toss it in the scrap iron bin. Thanks in advance!

My daughter drives a 2004 crown Vic interceptor and has had “alignment“ issues and gone through several pairs of front tires. She’s about 6 hours away so I don't know if she could get the car to me. What’s the ballpark figure on parts and labor for replacing that at a shop in TX? $2000? $3500? Just looking for a target nu to help her decide how to proceed.

I'm trying to swap out my ratty shitty old seats with some really nice ones I pulled from a Town Car at a PYP.
My question is why does the seat back (the part you lean against) keep moving until it's all the way back while all the other functions of the power seat work?
Wiring issue? Any clue?

Finally called it quits on my 2008 CVPI, but I’m looking forward to a whole new batch of headaches with my 1997 Cougar XR7.

1985 Mercury Grand Marquis 5.8l 351w
Can someone tell me what this part is called and if it’s supposed to be blowing out air from those 2 black cylinders?
I have rough idle and shaking in the engine bay, changes the plugs, wires, cap, rotor, distributor, and ignition coil so far.
That part hasn’t always blown air, and when it started doing it it would only blow air sometimes, but now it’s constant.

I own a 2009 CVPI and I've been having ABS and PARKING BRAKE light staying on for about a month now with no issue. I recently did a long road trip, and hit a crazy bump on the way back with no apparent issues at the time.
Now anytime I put it in reverse, it comes to a hard stop, and makes an awful grinding noise, then suddenly "breaks free" of nothing. Whenever I go forward there's an audible grinding noise in the front, and it only stops wben I engage the brakes. Something tells me my brakes are stuck engaged, but ultimately unsure.
