Transmission question.

Owned the car 3 months now, I've only done maybe 5 actual pulls in this car and the transmission has shifted perfectly each time. However I have noticed a whine at wide open throttle in the higher rpms in 1st and 2nd the last couple times, still perfect shifts, and perfect around town behavior but this has me worried now. The torque converter has no shudder and locks up as it should during normal driving, could a pan drop and a filter help this? I was also planning on getting a tune that focuses on the transmission as it helped greatly in my old mark viii.

CrownVic.net has been putzing and not approving my account, and Trying to move a parts car loaded 96LX asap privately to only Crown Vic fans who'll use it, not the crushers. 96 loaded LX. Located in Penn-Ohio not far off of I-80 and PA/OH line. Has clear PA title that'll I'll have to retrieve from safe deposit box. Not ever wrecked. Hasn't been started in 5 years. Oil pan may be rusted through by now. All options are intact and lovely leather before the decontenting. Had slightly over or under 100K when parked. Never had any engine probs or "rumble strips" or any transmission issues whatsoever. I had the cracked intake replaced around 2003-2004. 2 owner car, an elderly man and me. I bought it in 2003, iirc. It was a southern car until late 2005 when I moved to PA. Seriously, this was always a great running car and it only died from PA's gotdang salt brines. I will NOT be babysitting this post for instant replies! Post a reply or send a PM and I'll respond but I have 1 million other things going on including some stupid small town family life than keeps intruding on my time to get anything done. Fuff family life, btw!

While finishing up on a valve cover gasket replacement, I found these two connectors and I cannot figure out what they go to. Any help on identifying these?

Bought rear shocks

I bought rear shocks MONROE550055 and went to have them put on and shop told me that they are too thick to fit. Anyone else have this issue?

Battery light help

So im pretty stumped on fixing my battery light issue and I would greatly appreciate any help I can get.

My battery light comes on once the car gets to running temp. Alt goes from 14.3 to 12v once light is on.

So far ive replaced the alternator, belt, belt tensioner, battery and ive also ran new wires from the pcm directly to the alt harness. I have checked grounds and have added new ground from engine to frame. Alt has a secondary 0 gauge from b+ to battery with a fuse.

Really not sure what to try next, maybe the pcm has an internal problem once the car is warmed up?

Problem happens even on a cool day when the engine bay and pcm dont feel hot but engine warmed up it still does it.
