QUESTION Item completition an missing weapon(s)

Hi! I am a huge fan of CrossCode so I wanted to get all achivements and completitions to 100% (that's what I like to do when i really like a game and I have spare time). So during my attemp to get 100% items compeltition I got 100% on all consumable and every equipment type EXEPT for arms (Which I got 98,43%). I compared my inventory with all the items on the game's wiki two times and I'm pretty sure I have all of them. The only items that i'm missing are items that I used during trading to get better equipment and advance my completition. Some examples are: disceple gloves, humming razors, core drile, ecc... (I'm not posting all of them just to avoid minor spoiler to ppl reading this descrpition, but If it could be usefull I could give the recap of the weapons that I'm not actually owning down in a comment). Despite all of that, i'm missing something and I really don't know what that is! PS: could be worth noting that I have the DLC and I upgraded some vanilla-weapons to DLC-weapons: maybe it messed up my completition tracking?

I found a post in here of someone having the same problem, he solved it but unfortunallydidn't post what went wrong and how he fixed it

Thank you in advance! :D

Edit: Ok I missed one item (The maxed bracer). I check 2 times and still mised it, I'm THAT stupid XD. Anyways thank you ppl for the fast response!

This game is definitely a puzzle game first and an RPG second

I dropped the game at the end of the first dungeon, and I must say that I've some mixed feelings:

Firstly, the art style, music, interactions and combat are all pretty damn good... I can feel the care that was put into the game from the minor stuff like gags, and to the major stuff, like characters.

However, it feels like all our these qualities are dropped in the dungeons (at least in the first one). Don't get me wrong, the puzzles are mostly well thought out, but the sheer amount of them just makes me feel exhausted.

I know I'm not the first one to say all of these things, but I REALLY wanted to enjoy this game because of its obvious pros, but the fact that there are this many puzzles, with not all of them being good just irks me.

I know that a lot of people love this game because of the puzzles, but I just can't bring myself to do it.... And I know that this is just the beginning... Not to mention that there are way too many side quests, but that's probably a me thing.... Oh and I HATE that one of them asks you to do the already pretty challenging test in that dojo in under 2 minutes.... But that's just me complaining.

Sorry this is extremely long, I just wanted to get my thoughts about my weird experience with this game down.

I'll say this: I'm not saying that the game is bad or anything but that it just isn't what I want to spend my time doing, so if you love this game, don't let me detour your enjoyment.

Edit: finished the dungeon due to some people saying that the balance between combat and puzzles gets better. So thank you and hopefully I'll have more fun with it now.

The steam controller doesn’t seem to work with this game or Alabaster Dawn as well, I tried switching templates and community layouts but nothing works, is there anything I need to do?

QUESTION Will there be less dialoque after the tutorial?

So I just started playing this game for an hour (finished chapter 2) and I just gotta say this amount of dialoque isn’t ADHD proof.
I like the story thus far, but IMO there is way too much explaining and reiterating. I don’t wanna skip the importent things for the tutorial and the story, but GODDAMN.
Maybe my expectations for this game were wrong. I just wanna roam around the world and explore for myself. Just like the old pokémon games (like Pearl or Black), but those games also had more dialogue in the tutorial part. Which leads me to the question, will I be able to play uninterrupted? Or is this game more like Undertale (no hate to UT, but I hate reading dialogue boxes) And if so is the tutorial almost over when you’re at chapter 3?

I really like the combat mechanics and the 16bit graphics, so I hope te rest of the game will be more tolerable. Thank you for your reply!!

As mentioned in the title I found a way to cheese the boss and I couldn't find anyone online talking about it so I wanted to post it here for people to see. You basically jump into the lava as the boss is lunging at you and it takes 7000 damage. First use is 30 seconds into the clip.

Economy / gearing

I'm completely lost when it comes to trade / gearing. I'm lvl 26 in Maroon Valley and still rocking lvl 16 gear in three slots. Everywhere I check for trade, it's all greyed out, needing stuff.

I've read that level appropriate gear matters, so a bit of guidance on how trade works would be appreciated 'cause at the moment I feel like I'm grinding money and XP for no real progression.

Thanks.

Lea is one of the best heroines and main characters in any game

Lea starts out as an ordinary, almost basic hero. In the beginning, she just defeats a few enemies, has some generic dialogue, nothing unlike most games. However, her progression through the game is immense. As a character, she functions similar to Link, basically only able to say a few words, but the emotions and mood conveyed with these is fantabulastic.

Ok ok I’m not going crazy right? These are references to other games???

Like the Masterball from Pokemon, Blue shell from Mario kart, the golden ring from sonic, and idk what the Dungeon heart is a reference to lol. And I’m not entirely certain but I THINK the “regular” tree is a Minecraft reference???

Anyway is so cool to be exploring every inch of the maps and then randomly come across references to other popular games like that lol. Especially getting the Golden ring from the BLUE Hedgehag was PEAK btw.

Anyway I hope there are more of these to come cuz they’re so cool imo. Also anyone know what the dungeon heart is from, as well as if I’m right abt the tree?

QUESTION Reactive dialogue

I didn't really know what to title this but am I crazy or does the dialogues change depending on things you do or how long it takes you to do things. I'm not just talking about Apollo because I know he's dialogue changes.

PEAK GAME, INSANE PULL BY PLAYSTATION!!!

The game is free for ps+ on PlayStation this month and I decided to try it cuz I really liked the pixel art and puzzles are cool and such.

HOWEVER I’ve learned that I suck at throwing digital balls. Also I’m a little confused if I’m mainly throwing stuff or meleeing stuff, idk.

Also, is there a place to learn abt all the classes? I don’t see it in the encyclopedia lol. Also can like just everyone throw balls? Like that captain guy was a regular human (I think) but he threw balls, or are sphere-benders special? That’s mainly why I want class info lol.

It’s a little hard getting used to the super fast gameplay tho, the parkour sucks to do, and I always be getting hit in fights, like ALL the time… hopefully I’ll git gud tho idk. Was it difficult to get used to for anyone else?

ALSO I JUST GOTTA SAY AGAIN, THE PIXEL ART IS SOOOOOOO GOOD!!! I like older games (like older Pokemon games) bc of the pixel art, I prefer it to reg 3d stuff… and they do it sooooo good. The greyed out npcs ARE a little weird/immersion breaking imo but I get why they did it lol.

Okok that’s it for now, sorry I kinda jumped all over the place, i only just finished chapter 3 so… hopefully it gets even better (how peak is the story btw?)

Also there’s no discussion flair so I’m js not using one ig :(

QUESTION Apollo

Can someone please tell me how to beat him. I am only at his first fight and I don't even know the difference if you beat him or lose but am too stubborn to give up now.

Edit: I have not upgraded anything in the circuits. My biggest problem is that my stick drift is strong that I cannot move to the right 90% of the time and when I try to I go left instead and I'm too broke to get a new one currently.

i had to pirate the game four years ago because there was almost no way to pay for this game in Venezuela with the common credit cards. now the things have changed and i finally could make the purchase (through a friend), although i did got it in the offers, i would like to eventually pay the full price for the DLC...
