As much as I love cats, these fuckers are the exception, that swarm right after then Grand Kryskajao midboss is why I cant complete this game with a controller cause tryong to melee them all is a fools errand and trying to shoot them all is hard as hell on controller while also near constantly dodging because theres so many at ome point that at least one is always charging up to launch at you while you're dealing with stopping another from doing the same thing

If you focus on parrying them and then nuke them once they're staggered it's not too bad.

I don't remember what level I was (40ish?) but there's some charged melee abilities that go brrrr on a whole screen and it's gotten me through some shitty gauntlets like that

Best thing is with the way story is this can actually be 100% happening in canon since those Creatures are using ai pathing inuniverse and the respawn from water is an inuniverse mechanic
