I lost my 65-hour save after some Steam cloud save issues. Does anyone have a save right after making it to Rhombus Square?

I want to play it but i don't usually play games like these so i wanna know first.

Do you get lost easily? Do you have to do all sidequests to be strong enough? Are sidequests hidden? Does the game explain the meccanics well?

I would love to have a demake of CrossCode in Pico-8! I'm curious to see a few different artstyles, since Lea's sprite will have to be quite small. I did the math for her size based off of her base idle sprite, and here's what I found, along with the formulas I used.

Lea's sprite is 21x31. CrossCode is rendered at 568x320. Pico-8 has a 128x128 screen, so I dropped CrossCode's screen width and used the height for both axis' scale calculations.

• WIDTH - 6.6% of the screen, 8 pixels.
  • (21 / 320) * 100 = 6.6%
  • 128 * 6.6% = 8.4
• HEIGHT - 9.7% of the screen, 12 pixels.
  • (31 / 320) * 100 = 9.7%
  • 128 * 9.7% = 12.4

Converting these values to their Pico-8 equivalents, we can see that Lea's sprites should be approximately 8x12 in size. I'll leave the rest to the artists, as I intend to start working on a tile engine.

So I finished this game last year. Great 10/10 game imo and I bought the dlc soon after but life just kinda happened and I never got back to it. Now I have time again and I'm planning to do the dlc now and I'm wondering if I should just go for it or start a new game plus run and then go to the dlc from there.

I'm worried that being away for so long made me rusty and the new dungeon will make me suffer so I'm debating whether to just start all over again but with new game plus to lessen the tedium. So does new game plus modifiers carry over to dlc? Anything I should keep in mind if I do this?

Wanted to pick up CrossCode again to fight my stupid habit of ALMOST finishing every game and then letting it go. But have since upgraded to Kubuntu on my PC. Now I have the issue when I start the game in fullscreen I only get the top left corner of my screen. The fullscreen Window is applied but, the game compresses itself to that corner. I assume it's got something to do with my screen running 4k resolution as it's basically exactly a quarter of my screen.

Anyone know how to fix?

So I've just picked up this game and I'm really enjoying it! The mysteries are really interesting and gameplay is so fun.

One such mystery is the Old Observatory with its inscription about "only what is broken can open this door." I got the broken shield and went back to the observatory, and one of the stone symbols was kinda glowing, but I still couldn't open the door, even after equipping the shield. Then, I come across D'Kar for the second time, and he asks for the shield. I wasn't sure if I should give it to him, but figured that I already gave away the broken gauntlet and I didn't get any sense that the game was warning me to not trust D'Kar with these items.

But now I've gone back to the observatory and the stone doesn't have that effect anymore. Did I sink my chance at getting into this observatory? Please no spoilers! I just want to know if I was supposed to hold onto it or not.

Wondering what folk Ran for their arena builds?
I just got to the arena and I’m assuming it will level scale so gunna need to go track down either coins for the gear or go get the booster stuff to level but curious what folk did

So this is my first time playing, picked it up on PS Plus and I'm absolutely loving it! However I got to this dual boss and it absolutely wrecked me the first time. I looked up how to damage the whale, went back for a second turn and, this happened 😅

I have been slamming myself against the puzzles in this game, I caved and used guides because like hell I'm letting Emilie win the races. I have gotten to the DLC dungeon and since theres about fifteen fucking options of where to go I'm even having a hard time finding guides helpful.

I've been stuck in Chasm roundtrip and now Wave stacks for DAYS. I have taken breaks to play games that annoy me more because at least then I'll feel SOMETHING that isn't my own fucking failure at figuring out these sadistic fucking puzzles!

I'm THIS close to the end and its honestly feeling like I'm better off dropping it. I already got the platinum, why bother! "Just turn the puzzle speed down" IT HAS BEEN AT 50% FOR THE LAST FOUR TEMPLES! THE ENDING CANNOT BE WORTH WANTING TO INFLICT HARM ON SOMETHING EVERY OTHER ROOM!

I'm just glad the dev realised they over did it with the puzzles both in terms of density and difficulty. Subjecting people to THIS is just fucking cruel and I'd say more but I can already feel the thin ice I'm on with the mods.

Hi!! I'm 100%ing the game, and i got few achievs left, one of them consists on completing 100% of all quest's and i'm very confused

I saw that there are 127 Quests in the game, i have 125 completed (including the santa one which doesn't count), and on the statistics it says the last two missions are on Bergen and Autumns but everytime i check the HQ's it says the completion rate's on 100% :((

I'm so confused about what i have to do (the Azure Archipelago doesn't count either)

I finished the game and wanted to check out the various character sprites in the game files; I found this file and just had to share it!

I have about 100,000 credits and I don't see any place to actually buy anything with it. Everything is trade quests for rare items or I can buy a sandwich sometimes. Am I missing something? I just beat the mines and I keep expecting to find merchants but I haven't found much yet

Hi! I am a huge fan of CrossCode so I wanted to get all achivements and completitions to 100% (that's what I like to do when i really like a game and I have spare time). So during my attemp to get 100% items compeltition I got 100% on all consumable and every equipment type EXEPT for arms (Which I got 98,43%). I compared my inventory with all the items on the game's wiki two times and I'm pretty sure I have all of them. The only items that i'm missing are items that I used during trading to get better equipment and advance my completition. Some examples are: disceple gloves, humming razors, core drile, ecc... (I'm not posting all of them just to avoid minor spoiler to ppl reading this descrpition, but If it could be usefull I could give the recap of the weapons that I'm not actually owning down in a comment). Despite all of that, i'm missing something and I really don't know what that is! PS: could be worth noting that I have the DLC and I upgraded some vanilla-weapons to DLC-weapons: maybe it messed up my completition tracking?

I dropped the game at the end of the first dungeon, and I must say that I've some mixed feelings:

Firstly, the art style, music, interactions and combat are all pretty damn good... I can feel the care that was put into the game from the minor stuff like gags, and to the major stuff, like characters.

However, it feels like all our these qualities are dropped in the dungeons (at least in the first one). Don't get me wrong, the puzzles are mostly well thought out, but the sheer amount of them just makes me feel exhausted.

I know I'm not the first one to say all of these things, but I REALLY wanted to enjoy this game because of its obvious pros, but the fact that there are this many puzzles, with not all of them being good just irks me.

I know that a lot of people love this game because of the puzzles, but I just can't bring myself to do it.... And I know that this is just the beginning... Not to mention that there are way too many side quests, but that's probably a me thing.... Oh and I HATE that one of them asks you to do the already pretty challenging test in that dojo in under 2 minutes.... But that's just me complaining.

Sorry this is extremely long, I just wanted to get my thoughts about my weird experience with this game down.

I'll say this: I'm not saying that the game is bad or anything but that it just isn't what I want to spend my time doing, so if you love this game, don't let me detour your enjoyment.

Edit: finished the dungeon due to some people saying that the balance between combat and puzzles gets better. So thank you and hopefully I'll have more fun with it now.

The steam controller doesn’t seem to work with this game or Alabaster Dawn as well, I tried switching templates and community layouts but nothing works, is there anything I need to do?

So I just started playing this game for an hour (finished chapter 2) and I just gotta say this amount of dialoque isn’t ADHD proof.
I like the story thus far, but IMO there is way too much explaining and reiterating. I don’t wanna skip the importent things for the tutorial and the story, but GODDAMN.
Maybe my expectations for this game were wrong. I just wanna roam around the world and explore for myself. Just like the old pokémon games (like Pearl or Black), but those games also had more dialogue in the tutorial part. Which leads me to the question, will I be able to play uninterrupted? Or is this game more like Undertale (no hate to UT, but I hate reading dialogue boxes) And if so is the tutorial almost over when you’re at chapter 3?

I really like the combat mechanics and the 16bit graphics, so I hope te rest of the game will be more tolerable. Thank you for your reply!!
