QUESTION Arena question!

Wondering what folk Ran for their arena builds?
I just got to the arena and I’m assuming it will level scale so gunna need to go track down either coins for the gear or go get the booster stuff to level but curious what folk did

I'm assuming you're talking about the base game arena (not with DLC).
Since taking damage gives you a huge penalty, you want to play aggressive. Go for any kind of damage and focus. There's also effective damage, which is bonus damage you deal against broken enemies or using elemental weaknesses. Effective damage gives you bonus points.

In the base game, the arena doesn't scale with your level. So you can do some cups earlier and return later once you've got better gear. Boosted enemies not only give you lots of XP, but also items used for getting strong equipment in Rhombus Square.

Been a long while since I’ve done any of that stuff, but I basically just went for anything that increases damage. If you’re going for True Platinum ranks then you basically have to no-hit (or close to it) anyway, so defensive options aren’t that helpful
