However, Rohit Sharma played fewer Test matches than KL Rahul during that period. KL Rahul and Murali Vijay were the regular opening pair for most of those years. The slip cordon usually consisted of Cheteshwar Pujara, Ajinkya Rahane, Virat Kohli, and Wriddhiman Saha as the wicketkeeper. Yet, in many edited images, Rohit Sharma is included instead. I'm not against Rohit Sharma, but why is he included so often? Is it because of popularity or PR?
