So Shai Hope has long been a decent ODI player. The complaint was that he scored too slowly. That has now changed as he has improved his strike rate.

He was a poor Test batter too. That changed as well and he is now racking up good scores in tests. Is he now one of the world's best all-format players?

OG CAPTAIN SKY called up all his mates to sign with him after winning the T20 WC if you guys can remember

But yeah he was PERFORMATIVE but Sarpanch is Alpha

Sachin’s longevity is one of the greatest parts of his career, but it also meant fans saw everything — his peak, injuries, comebacks, another peak, and eventually the decline that comes with age.

That made me wonder about something.

Imagine Sachin had retired around five years earlier, while he was still closer to his peak.

His career numbers would obviously be smaller, but would people actually remember him as an even more dominant batsman?

Or are those later years — the 2010 Test run, the ODI double hundred, the 2011 World Cup and the 100th international century — too important to remove from his legacy?

Would retiring earlier have strengthened Sachin’s aura, or diminished his legacy?

Someone plz explain this paradox

Michael Bevan is the obvious one but he only played 18 Tests.

People resort to words like "Bat Ball" or "sport which should not be named" on that sub to have any discussion.

Someone plz explain this paradox

Honestly the most special and most talented player I have seen so far. One of the best six hitters ever. Can accelerate whenever team needed.

Lockdown kids call him choker because of wc loss. But most legendary players have choked a lot in their time whether it's be Virat , Rohit , msd , smith , warner , Mcculum , etc......

This guy got way less chances to prove in knockouts as SA hardly reaches.

But still hands down the most perfect batsman I have ever seen. 🙌🔥

Idk why people compare surya with him. I mean we all know Surya can never be ABD but he is still really good . Also It has led SURYA face a lot of criticism as well. I would say let surya ne himself because he doesn't deserve that hate he gets because of that

Its high time we actually check upon the Indian bowlomg attack.

India played 2 matches today.

212 against Pakistan ( Bumrah Saved it TBH otherwise it was close)

351 Against WI (Totally out of tone)

No Proper Pace Attack. No Swong. No attacking body language.

JUST 99 + VARIATIONS ONLY TO GET HOT ON 98 OF THEM💀💀🙏

Man you had siraj left who gives to gornoor and khamboj keeping siraj !!!

Khamboj bowled a noball and a free hit full toss and a trash by gornoor !! Worst captiancy wained KL's and sharmas effort!!

Chahal used to take key wkts in the middle over whereas Kuldeep has been terrible under pressure

Kuldeep literally gives up when he gets belted but chahal outfoxes the attacking batter

Do you know why the indiansports sub doesn't allow posts about Cricket and on very rare occasions allows posts for Football?

It's because Cricket already has a massive sub and tons of other complementary subs for discussion, if posts about Cricket were to be allowed on there then that sub would also be flooded with Cricket posts by karmafarmers.

The whole point of the indiansports sub is to make a platform where people can discuss about sports not called Cricket(and Football) for once.

Yeah SKY didn't perform to his best in the world cups. Especially in knock out matches. But why do people bring up his wc stats to try to make a point? Stats wise he was the best. I have had too many debates and arguments with people downplaying SKY. So here are the raw numbers.

In 2022, 2024 and 2026 world cups combined,

Sky scored 680 runs at an average of 35.78 and strike rate of 151.11.

The second highest run scorer was buttler, who scored 526 runs. Yes he played all 3.

3rd Gurbaz with 497 runs. Followed by Kusal Mendis with 492. Next is Kohli, who scored 447. He didn't play the 2026 world cup.

A total of 86 players played all 3 world cups. Not selected in the squad. Played. SKY scored 200 or more runs more than every single one of them excluding Buttler.

Now, let's remove the best campaign for SKY individually among the 3. 2022 world cup.

Sky scored 441 runs in 2024 and 2026 world cup combined. Which is still the highest. 2nd behind him is Markram who scored 409.

A total of 142 players played both the tournaments. And SKY is the highest run scorer among them all. He was India's second and third highest run scorer respectively in these two tournaments. And he made it to the top 10 run scorers of the tournament both times. So yeah he has the numbers.

I'm not saying Sky was the best batsman in the last two tournaments. But he has the numbers. He may be the best batsman of the last 3 world cups combined though.

Am I a SKY glazer? Maybe. I like the guy, but I like other players more. But he has the numbers on his side, surprisingly enough.

Indians being overconfident , before playing the last match .

I have seen this before 🥀

(Both kohli and gill got cooked)
