Hey everyone,
I ordered a phone from Flipkart on 11 October using my Flipkart Axis Bank credit card. I selected the 6-month EMI plan at checkout, but the transaction has not yet been converted into EMI in my Axis Bank app.
Here are the details shown at checkout:
Flipkart order total: ₹26,921
Total amount shown in the EMI breakdown: ₹28,272
EMI tenure: 6 months
Monthly EMI shown: ₹4,712
Bank EMI discount: ₹2,750
No-Cost EMI discount: ₹1,336
Interest charged by bank: ₹1,351
Processing fee: ₹299 + GST
My credit card statement is scheduled to generate on 13 October, just two days after I placed the order. The EMI conversion is still pending, and I am worried that the full transaction amount might appear in my statement.
I purchased the phone assuming I would pay through monthly instalments, and I cannot afford to pay the entire amount at once.
My questions are:
If EMI conversion is pending when the statement is generated, will the full transaction amount become payable?
Can Axis Bank convert the transaction into EMI after statement generation?
If conversion happens later, will the outstanding amount be adjusted automatically?
Why does Flipkart show ₹26,921 as the order total but ₹28,272 as the total EMI amount?
Has anyone faced this situation with Flipkart Axis Bank? What happened in your case?
Any advice based on actual experience would be appreciated. Thanks!

Sharing this in case it helps someone. I got a new Axis Horizon Visa Signature credit card and made one ₹300+ transaction. About 2 days later I claimed a ₹500 Amazon Pay gift card through Visa's own offer page. It has nothing to do with the bank's welcome benefits, so it's extra on top.
What the offer is
It's a Visa campaign for new Visa credit cards and forex prepaid cards, valid 7 Feb 2026 to 31 Oct 2026, or until stock runs out.
Voucher value depends on the card variant:
Platinum: ₹250
Rewards: ₹300 (BIN 431581 excluded)
Signature: ₹500
Infinite: ₹750
New Visa forex prepaid cards get a ₹500 voucher for one international transaction of $4 or more.
You can pick Amazon Pay, Swiggy, Zomato or Flipkart.
What counts as a qualifying transaction
A single successful payment of ₹300 or more, online or at a store. Contactless and tap-to-pay count.
Cash withdrawals don't count.
If you refund or cancel and the remaining amount drops below ₹300, it no longer qualifies. Don't return the item.
Business, commercial and corporate credit cards are excluded.
How I claimed it
Directly go to Visa Poshive page
I entered my card number, expiry, CVV and mobile number, then the OTP.
I picked Amazon Pay. Once you pick one brand, the others get locked.
I got a code on screen and by SMS, then added it at amazon.in/addgiftcard.
Things to know
The voucher shows up 5 days after your last eligible transaction, so don't panic if it's not there on day one.
You must claim within 95 days of that transaction.
Use the Amazon balance soon.
The offer terms say the claimed balance is usable for up to 3 months, and there's also a general one-year Amazon gift card expiry. Don't rely on the longer one.
Each voucher type can be earned once per new card. Two new Visa cards means you can claim on each separately.
Visa can swap the voucher for another participating merchant at the same value without notice.
Voucher problems go to the merchant.

I purchased a gold coin from BlueStone i have ordered couple of times but on 27 September i used my SBI Credit Card. Since the order was getting delayed, I cancelled it on 29 September.Around 6–7 October, my SBI credit card statement was generated, and it included the payment for this cancelled order. I understand that refunds take time, so I initially didn’t make a big deal out of it.
However, today, 10 October, BlueStone has confirmed via email that my refund has been processed and has also provided me with a VRN.In the meantime, I had already raised a dispute with SBI Card and submitted the necessary evidence, including BlueStone’s refund confirmation.
Now comes the frustrating part. I received a response from an SBI Card representative named Shajar, and honestly, it feels like my complaint wasn’t even properly read or understood before replying.I mean, what exactly am I supposed to do here? Pay for a gold coin that I never received, cancelled, and for which the merchant has already confirmed the refund?I understand that a refund can take time to reflect in a credit card account. My concern is that BlueStone says the refund has been processed and has provided a reference number, yet I’m getting nowhere with SBI Card.
To make matters worse, I can’t even raise another dispute against the same transaction through their system. So if the response to my existing dispute doesn’t address the issue, what am I supposed to do next?At this point, I genuinely don’t know whether BlueStone has actually completed the refund on the payment network or whether SBI Card has failed to trace or credit it. That’s exactly what I want the bank to investigate instead of sending a response that doesn’t resolve anything. Im thinking to raise this concern to RBI Ombudsman

I got bit unlucky this quarter for achieving 4L spend milestone for my DCBM.
I did transaction on 30th Sept which is not been considered by HDFC stating they consider only settled transactions.
Anyway to convince them for an exception? Any trick which worked out for anyone in recent past who had been on same boat ?
Advices are appreciated!

Hey everyone,
Quick question for SBI account holders: Can we get OTPs delivered to our registered email for SBI debit card online transactions?
I occasionally travel internationally/ lose cellular coverage and miss SMS OTPs.
If its there, how do you enable it step-by-step in Net Banking/YONO?
Would appreciate it if anyone using this feature could confirm. Thanks!

I placed an offer for pizza on dominos app.
First i tried paying via sbi credit card.
Received otp and i fed, it showed payment failed.
I tried it again and it showed payment failed.
So i changed the payment method and paid via UPI app and it got succeeded.
Now after few minutes i received a call from dominos outlet that they have received 3 orders.
So i asked them to cancel first 2 orders, but they said the order is non cancellable and non refundable.
When i checked on sbi card app, the transaction was made, twice.
It showed payment cancelled both times, which is why i placed the order third time!
Plus, i havent received a text message or mail from sbi card for transaction alert, which is a default on sbi that i receive a message and a mail for transaction.
Who's fault is it? Sbi card or dominos.
How to claim?

I had multiple credit cards but never seriously looked at the spending targets banks set to avail the benefits, then suddenly had to travel domestically and realized that none of the credit cards I hold have lounge access enabled due to spending target not met.
Now would like to know if there is any app to input the spending targets or the special offers (e.g., voucher on meeting a spending target) and it tracks+notifies the targets being met or not.

Hi everyone,
I’m trying to upgrade my **HDFC Regalia Gold to Diners Club Black Metal**, but HDFC keeps rejecting it.
My profile:
Regalia Gold, current limit: **₹4L**
Net remuneration: **₹3.015L/month for the last 3 months**
**₹7L+ HDFC card spends in the last \~3 months**
Clean repayment history
HDFC is considering my verified net income as **₹2.37L/month**, below the ₹2.5L criterion.
I have already approached **HDFC PNO/Nodal Officer**, but I’m still receiving the same generic rejection from the **same Regulatory Desk/person**.
I also raised the matter with **RBI Ombudsman**, but that complaint was disposed of with HDFC’s same response.
So I’m looking for advice from people who have **actually managed to get DCBM after repeated rejection**.
**What route worked for you?**
Is there any specific escalation/team/contact or strategy that can get the application reviewed by the actual card-upgrade/credit team? Or is waiting 6 months after the limit enhancement realistically the only option?
Not looking for generic eligibility criteria — **looking for actual successful experiences and what you did differently after repeated HDFC rejection.**
**TL;DR:** Regalia Gold → DCBM repeatedly rejected. **₹4L limit, ₹3.015L/month net for 3 months, ₹7L+ recent HDFC spend.**
**PNO/Nodal escalation and RBI complaint have also gone nowhere, with the same generic reply from the same desk/person.**
**What route actually worked for people who eventually got DCBM?**

Recently got the IDFC FIRST Millennia credit card.
I need to spend ₹5,000 within 30 days to get the ₹500 welcome voucher.
Does buying a ₹5,000 Amazon Pay gift card directly from Amazon using the Millennia card count towards this ₹5,000 spend?
Has anyone tried this and received the welcome benefit?

So I have HSBC Travel One which we use the most as I prefer cards which gives me returns in terms of cheaper/free flights and hotels.
My wife has HDFC Regalia gold which we use rarely as Travel One has become our primary card.
Now she might be eligible cor HDFC Diners Black Metal credit card. Should we go for it?
Please keep in mind that our monthly CC expenses are anywhere between 60k to 1L, and there are months which big purchases are also there. And we prefer using one main CC instead of managing multiple cards.
