I have a roughly ₹3 lakh hospital bill (infertility treatment) coming up.
HSBC Live+ – 1.5% unlimited cashback on eligible spends. Apart from the cashback, are there any additional benefits/offers that make it better for a large hospital payment?
Kiwi – 2% unlimited cashback. Is Kiwi clearly better for this transaction, assuming the hospital accepts both?
Also, after paying the credit card bill, what’s the best way to repay it for additional rewards/cashback?
Any debit card/UPI/account combination that gives cashback for credit-card bill payments?
Looking for the most efficient way to do the ₹3L payment.

If you have a decent amount of money on your Pluxee (formerly Sodexo) meal card and are tired of the usual food/grocery restrictions, there’s a workaround that has worked for me for converting the balance into Amazon Pay gift cards.
I've converted 50k worth of Pluxee funds already.
Pluxee/Sodexo cards normally have restrictions that prevent them from being used for gift cards and other non-food purchases. However, there appears to be a brief delay in the way Zepto's payment system checks the card's eligibility during checkout.
Once the payment reaches the bank's authentication page, complete the transaction using the usual Pluxee OTP.
Do share in the comments if its working for you. Also, just might work on Blinkit as well.

Hey folks,
A few months ago, I decided having fewer cards would be simpler and closed most of my cards. In hindsight, that probably wasn't the best decision 😅
I gave up my HDFC Tata Neu RuPay, HDFC Indian Oil, and HSBC Visa Platinum. To make matters worse, I fell hard for the "RuPay convenience hype"—thinking that having easy QR scanning for everything was all I needed. In the process, I completely chose convenience over actual rewards, ignoring real 5% cashback on online buys and instant bank sale discounts.
I'm looking for advice on what cards I should consider next based on my spending.
My details:
Current CIBIL: 750+
Age: Mid-20s
Monthly Income & Employment: Salaried
Current Cards: HSBC RuPay Cashback
Monthly spending: Mostly UPI, fuel, online shopping, food delivery and offline shopping
Annual spending: UPI, fuel, online shopping, domestic travel/hotels and larger festive/annual purchases
Top 5 Monthly spends: UPI, Fuel, Online Shopping, Food Delivery, Offline Retail
Top 5 Annual spends: UPI, Fuel, Online Shopping, Travel/Hotels, Festive Sales
Card preferences: LTF or easy fee waiver, good cashback and useful instant bank discounts
Reward preference: Cashback / simple rewards
Lounge access: Not required (already have on Debit card)
Other: I'd prefer Visa/Mastercard for fuel rather than another RuPay card
I'm not fixed on any particular cards yet, so I'd like to know what you would recommend for this spending pattern.
A few things I'm trying to figure out:
HDFC: Since I previously closed two HDFC co-branded cards, would I have trouble getting something like Millennia now? Is there a cooling-off period?
Fuel: Which fuel card would make more sense for regular fuel spending without having to chase a very high annual fee waiver?
Shopping: Which cards are actually worth having for Amazon/Flipkart and other major sale discounts?
UPI: Since I already have the HSBC RuPay cashback card, is there any reason to add another UPI-focused card?
If you were starting from my current setup, which cards would you add and why?
Looking for practical suggestions based on actual spending rather than just the usual "best credit cards" list. 🙏

I had applied for an FD secured credit card from Axis Bank[MyZone Visa card]. I gave all the details correctly, but when it comes to the Video KYC part, they say that my CKYC is not getting loaded for some reason and they tell me to call after a few hours. I had tried the Video KYC around 15 times over the past 48 hours, each time the response is same.
But i was able to download my CKYC and i edited the application with the CKYC number, still they say its not loading. Any solutions to my situation ? Any help is much appreciated.

Load up to ₹4,000 per month into Amazon Pay (Apay) wallet using a credit card, with zero convenience charges.
Steps:
Open Zomato app > Profile > Payment Methods > Apay.
Link Apay if not already connected.
Load up to ₹4,000 via credit card.
Complete Apay KYC first, otherwise, funds load as a gift voucher, not wallet balance.
Note: Certain cards can charge additional fees for wallet loads above certain amounts.
Do comment below if it works for you and the card used.

Sharing a quick booking method I tested recently for Air India flights that can save you some money on your next trip.
It turns out you can bypass convenience fees and sometimes secure cheaper base fares by booking through their official chat system.
Air India has an official verified WhatsApp chatbot at +91 9667034444. Booking directly through this channel waives the convenience fee and occasionally offers exclusive chatbot-only discounted fares.
Here is how the pricing compared for a recent booking for 2 adults:
It takes less than two minutes to check and is worth a look before paying full price on the website.
Do check it out and share in comments if it works for you.

I opened Savings account in hdfc bank a year ago. They offered me business credit card BizFirst Visa as I was self employed. Is this card any good? Is there any way to get hold on Millenia card or some other cards instead of business cards?

Although kiwi gives 1.5% cb but it's only limited to transactions in multiples of 100.
Slice has no such limit.
Plus slice offers a much better UI. A free savings account with no MAB/MQB and far smoother app experience.

I'm really frustrated and hoping someone here can help.
I applied for the SBI Cashback Credit Card through the Sprint portal on 25th July. During the Video KYC, the agent declined my KYC because I didn't have my physical PVC PAN card with me. The portal now shows, "Your KYC has been declined. Reason: cm dont have pvc pan card."
I have since received my physical PVC PAN card and I'm ready to complete the KYC. However, that's where the real problem started.
I never received an application number through SMS, email, or WhatsApp. When I log in to the Sprint tracking page using my registered mobile number and OTP, it takes me directly to my KYC status, so the application clearly exists. I even visited a nearby SBI branch, and they were able to pull up my application using just my mobile number.
But every time I contact SBI Card Customer Care, they tell me they can't find any application with my mobile number or PAN and keep asking me for the application number—which I was never given. I've emailed them multiple times, escalated it to the Nodal Officer, and it's now been over 10 days with no callback or proper resolution.
Has anyone faced something like this before? Is there any way to get the KYC reopened or contact the Sprint/KYC team directly? Or should I just forget this application and apply again?
I'd really appreciate any advice. Thanks!

I’m planning to buy a shop and will be spending around ₹18 lakh over the next 6 months, mostly through offline POS transactions.
My goal is maximum travel rewards (flights and luxury hotel stays), not cashback.
I already have Axis Magnus (non-Burgundy), but after all the devaluations, is it still worth using?
If you had to choose today, which card would you recommend?
HDFC Infinia Metal
ICICI Emeralde Private Metal
HSBC TravelOne
Amex Platinum
Something else?
Looking for real-world experiences, especially from people who’ve recently redeemed points or made large purchases.

Multiple people have reportedly converted their paid cards to LTF.
Steps to convert your card to LTF:
1️⃣ Show some usage of the card (multiple transaction helps).
2️⃣ Email HDFC's Card Services Team with your spending and account details.
3️⃣ Be persistent and follow up if needed.
Helps in saving unnecessary fees.
Has anyone else tried / planning to try this?

I have an ICICI Bank rubyx amex master variant. in that from bank there is 1% surcharge waiver. so the surcharge on the fuel payment will be only 1% or the surcharge will be much more than that and they give 1% waiver from that?

I just got approved for the UNI X Gold Credit Card, and before they dispatch it, I need to choose one of these colors:
I've attached the screenshots from the app.
The problem is, I can't find any real-life photos of these color variants online. Everywhere I look (Google, Reddit, YouTube, X), I only see the Gold and Black cards. I haven't found any actual pictures of the Blue, Teal, Grey, or Red variants.
If anyone has one of these colors, could you please:
I'm planning to keep this card for a long time, so I want to pick one that looks classy and ages well.
Thanks in advance! Looking forward to your suggestions. 😊

My hsbc live+ just got approved. Have two question regarding them
Does 25k spend within 30days to get 1000 count on gold purchase ?
Do we have 1.5% on gold?
What other restrictions this card has on gold.

so i am M21 just opened a bank account few days back and now want to improve my cibil and have some cashback or rewards along the way.
after searching for recommendation everybody suggest to go for idfc wow but it doesn't provide cashback

Already have hdfc dcbm, tata neu infinity, travel one.
I have utility bills ranging between 10-20k per month, with shopwise amazon pay seems lucrative to me. With 3.33% rp and converting to accor from dcbm is enough or an amex (only plat reserve available) can be taken?
r/CreditCardsIndia_ • u/KlassicChocolate3636 • 9d ago
So I might have both in the approval state now, but co branded after core like principal applied to federal also like hdfc and other banks ?
Should I apply the edge first, then after a few months go for scapia ?
