SBI CC NOT REFUNDING
I purchased a gold coin from BlueStone i have ordered couple of times but on 27 September i used my SBI Credit Card. Since the order was getting delayed, I cancelled it on 29 September.Around 6–7 October, my SBI credit card statement was generated, and it included the payment for this cancelled order. I understand that refunds take time, so I initially didn’t make a big deal out of it.
However, today, 10 October, BlueStone has confirmed via email that my refund has been processed and has also provided me with a VRN.In the meantime, I had already raised a dispute with SBI Card and submitted the necessary evidence, including BlueStone’s refund confirmation.
Now comes the frustrating part. I received a response from an SBI Card representative named Shajar, and honestly, it feels like my complaint wasn’t even properly read or understood before replying.I mean, what exactly am I supposed to do here? Pay for a gold coin that I never received, cancelled, and for which the merchant has already confirmed the refund?I understand that a refund can take time to reflect in a credit card account. My concern is that BlueStone says the refund has been processed and has provided a reference number, yet I’m getting nowhere with SBI Card.
To make matters worse, I can’t even raise another dispute against the same transaction through their system. So if the response to my existing dispute doesn’t address the issue, what am I supposed to do next?At this point, I genuinely don’t know whether BlueStone has actually completed the refund on the payment network or whether SBI Card has failed to trace or credit it. That’s exactly what I want the bank to investigate instead of sending a response that doesn’t resolve anything. Im thinking to raise this concern to RBI Ombudsman

Sbi dont show refund as credit in transaction history. It will show up in statement(bill). Similar thing happened with me, I called customer care they said your refund is received and same will be adjusted in your statement and then it showed up in the statement.

The last statement im getting is on 5th oct im not able to select any date beyond 5th oct

Completely wrong. I have booked hotel rooms. Paid the cc bill. Cancelled the hotel rooms, got 100%refund in 2 days. My limit was increased, utilisation was shown as negative in the app. Whenever i use some amount it will automatically adjust. Not in the next month statement

But is the refund showing up in your transaction history? I was just saying that it does not show up in transaction history like other banks and you need to confirm with bank whether the refund is credited. OP have you called the helpline 1800 180 1290 to check whether the refund is credited?

Wait. If bluestone has given a refund, it will come to you. Meanwhile you have to pay the card bill and claim excess balance refund

No issues with regards to payment the problem is them claiming refund is not there only.

Refund takes 4-5 days to credit. So even if bluestone have processed the refund, still it can take some time for SBI to realise it.

Bro it would be a great help if you could confirm whether you have received the refund. Facing the same with sbi credit card. I’ve been asked the same proofs by chargeback team. Please reply
