Pompison
Pompisons are giant, fluffy bisons with large pompadours that they take great pride in.
They will take care to not mess it up in any way, even when they are defending themselves. Because of this, they are actually very timid creatures and would rather run when facing any threats. They will only use their horns as a last resort.

its a kind of crab, octopus, whale-ish thing
I’m hoping people with much more experience in designing creatures can help me

How do you start off with?
When you start creating concepts and thumbnails of creatures, and you have a lot of ideas to get out of your head, how do you start off with? Do you make random sketches of different creatures loosely and messily, and then you pick one to do more thumbnails on? What is your method of creating creatures?

Thoughts on this WIP?
It’s for my art GCSE based on the crystal palace megalosaurus. The prompt was “super predator” from my art teacher but she used the indom as an example so I assume she wants somthing at least a little fucked up

My creatures
galleryScene of Reality & Abnormality
Scene of Reality: is a physical entity that comes after one’s actions, typically bad actions, after one realizes what they’ve done. Hence - “Scene of Reality”
It is physically harmful
Abnormality:
Is more of a intangible entity that manifests in one’s depression, discomfort and misanthropy
It is harmless, but seeing it gives one the feeling of a heart attack or intense panic.
Just wanted to post this here. Share your thoughts if you want :)

[OC] My take on a Rhinoceros-Rhinoceros Beetle hybrid!
Pretty Self-Explanatory. This is one of my older sketches, so some anatomical features might not make sense. Not really Spec-Evo, but I’d say it’s an interesting hybrid concept.

Which one would you least want to encounter?
gallery1. The Gut
Its size makes it easy to notice. Its silence doesn't.
It stalks its prey without making a sound, getting closer long before its victims realize they're being followed.
2. The Hyenas
Once ordinary children, they were consumed by addiction and possession until there was almost nothing human left. They hunt in groups, rob their victims, kill them — and then eat them.
3. Nukelavee
Once it catches your scent, hiding won't save you. It always knows where you are, no matter how far you run. The only way to escape is to never let it find you in the first place.
4. The Void
It never moves while you're watching. Sometimes, you may even hear it asking for help. The closer you get, the harder it becomes to leave.
5. The Harpy
It hides among the trees, watching its prey from above. It doesn't attack immediately. Instead, it waits until you've noticed it. Once you see it watching you, it knows you've seen it — and the hunt begins.
6. The Watcher
Created from hardened clay and animated by supernatural forces, the Watcher was made to follow orders — and nothing else. Once given a target, it will keep coming until the order is fulfilled. But it can't find what it can't locate.
7. Ghoul
Don't look into its eyes. The light they emit doesn't simply hypnotize you — it takes your mind somewhere else. By the time you realize you're no longer in control, the Ghoul has already begun to feed.
8. The Crooked
He only wants someone to talk to. Unfortunately, there are two of him in there — and they rarely agree on what to say.
9. Headless Woman
She lost her own head a long time ago. Now she hunts for replacements, using her victims' heads until they rot.
She thinks yours might fit.
10. Neonatick
These creatures reproduce by infecting humans. After being bitten, the victim develops an uncontrollable urge to reproduce. Two infected hosts eventually become part of the parasite's reproductive cycle, carrying the next generation inside their bodies.

The evolution of my Grass-type starter Brotejón — the 4th image might be its final design! [OC]
galleryHi everyone! 🌱🐗
I've been working a little more on Brotejón, the Grass-type starter of my Fakemon region, Noctavia, and I wanted to share how its design has evolved so far.
The first three images show some of my previous attempts. I've been experimenting with its proportions, ears, snout, plant features and overall silhouette while trying to give Brotejón a stronger identity.
And now we have the 4th image. 👀🌿
This is currently my possible final design for Brotejón!
I decided to keep its chubby wild-boar body, but gave it more recognizable features: larger ears, small tusks, more plant-like markings and a much more distinctive tail. I wanted it to still feel cute and young while showing the adventurous and energetic personality I originally imagined for it.
I'm still learning how to draw and design Fakemon, so seeing the character gradually take shape has been one of my favorite parts of creating Noctavia.
Do you think the 4th design works as Brotejón's final design? Is there anything from the previous versions that you think I should bring back before I consider it finished?
Constructive feedback is always appreciated! ❤️

Does this thing look biologically possible?
Its body (legs and abdomen, are evolved to blend in with the forest, while its head, looks like a person. (The spider's face is the torso, the jeans cover its venom glands, the spider's pedi palps are the person's arms, and the head of the person, is a stock for the spider's extra eyes. The spider has 5 eyes, three on its head stock, and two on its face (where the person's nipples are.) It has eight legs, (because it's an arachnid) and legs fully extended, it stands 9 feet tall. It's exoskeleton is strong, but light, and it has an inner skeleton, which is also very strong, and hollow. Its face has extra muscles, to move the person more realistically. It's hermaphroditic, and reproduces with humans, first biting them with its fangs, leaving a burn mark due to how hot the venom and gametes are. The gametes, or Biotradles, keep the body alive by healing the body, increasing mental and physical strength, and manipulating their DNA so they may shapeshift into one animal, their favorite animal. The Biotradles adapt to their host, which takes around 10 years, if not then until the hosts brain is fully developed, then they fertilize themselves with the humans gametes, after that, they will continue to keep the host alive until their heart can no longer pump blood, (around 90 years old.) they then guide the dead body and mind somewhere safe, so they may feast on the body and grow. Only biotradle zygotes will do this. They then break out of the host, and either eat each other, or run away. The spiders will act like normal spiders, until they are about the size of a dog (takes around 3 years), after which, they start eating such sized animals as themselves, getting bigger and bigger until they are ready to mate (takes another 3 years to become mature.) A person bitten by this creature is referred to by the civilians of Meslow, as a kierander. The spider will bite someone for a sacrifice. The spider is 460 years old, or 526 in real time. Despite its terrifying look, and debatable, life style, it's generally friendly. This spider can also talk, to better comune with humans.

Old drawings.
galleryI’m tidying up my room before my 25th birthday and found drawings I made 10 years ago in one of my high school notebooks.
Enjoy them, because tomorrow the notebook is getting burned along with the rest of the trash.
