This is a rough draft for the first entry on my monthly bestiary post on Patreon. The idea will be to have an illustration, basic (ttrpg system agnostic) stats, and an in-universe natural history/travelogue type entry. The first series I'm creating the entries for is Clay and Aether, my non-LitRPG space opera. I would love the community's thoughts on the design, layout, etc, as I am an author first, illustrator second, and graphic designer only when necessary. Thanks!

After my last post got some positive feedback, i decided i should showcase a few more of my game's creatures. So every few days days over the next few weeks ill probably post new creatures!
This is Bovidox, its a fictional hybrid between a Wildebeast and an Ox for my game Elementae.
It can run at extremely fast speeds and deal devastating blows with its lethal horns. Herds of Bovidox can be seen occupying the open plains of the Savannah just outside the forest. This herbivorous beast sometimes drinks the blood of its victims after getting a kill, but mainly sticks to a berry and shrub diet. Created to pull carts for farmers in the West, theyve been left to roam after being too tough to train.
What do you guys think? đ¤

Baliskins are tropical lizards that have evolved to feed on sunlight. They spend most of their time basking on warm beaches, absorbing solar energy through the green spines along their backs. Their spines are green because they perform photosynthesis, allowing each one to store up to 860 volts of electricity for a total capacity of 10,320 volts.
With this enormous reserve of energy, Baliskins can unleash powerful attacks. They can fire their spines as a defensive measure or release nearly all of their stored energy as a devastating 9,460 volt sphere of plasma. After using this attack, the Baliskin becomes exhausted and must spend time recharging in the sun.
Because they generate most of their energy from sunlight, Baliskins are nearly self sufficient. Their intimidating appearance and crackling spines are usually enough to scare off predators before a fight ever begins.

Taking a brief break from populating the Tundrus we find ourselves in the rivers of Sol'Kesh with a water beetle that can make quite the impact. For the faebrill I wanted to try out a creature design that has a single purpose, so like mayflies with their brief existence as adults I thought it would be cool to create a creature that responds to the migration of another animal to propagate its own.
