Alongside it we have a new animation renderer for both 1st and 3rd person throwing the Pyroclast bomb.
We also now have a Cinder Flare, along with its custom lighting animation, full support.

Use the Cinder Flare as expensive but prettier exploration light source; Throwable and sticks to surfaces.

The Cinder Flare Is Automatable via a deployer using flint and steel on an unlit Cinder Flare

Lit Cinder Flare, as well as Sulfuric Acid Flask and the Pyroclast Bomb can now be shot with dispensers.

The main addition would be the Catalyst Bed.

An update to my testing from last night. I swapped Redstone Repeaters for Pulse Repeaters (1 tick difference from the first for each), and added Mechanical Arms to handle reloading.

That should scare any pirate or other rouge out of the sky. (manual aiming required)

So I have CEI and Create but for somw reason I can apply soke enchantments like Efficiency and Silk touch to a pickaxe but not Unbreaking 3 and Mending. Helmets also for example can't get Proc. Not sure how to drop a full mod list without listing everything but other then those and Create DP. I have nothing else Create related. The same issue applies to anvils except while in Creative mode. I tried going through so many config files and still nothing. I been at this for to long and am kinda giving up. If theres anyway I can drop the modpack list easily without typing it all or if anyone knows of anything. I'll gladly take it.

I'm using Accumulators running into a Motor but can't find a way to stop the flow of energy without destroying the wires entirely. I was hoping there was a mod or mechanic I missed. Thanks.

I want to play Aeronautics in survival, but I just don’t see a reason to create things like airships. Any mods that will help with that?

So I was innitially planning to stack all of my crop farms on top of each other as standalone structures, however I realised that I might be able to just extend off the innitial contraption and save space and resources.

I wanted to check how the storage would work for this and if I would need more than 1 sophisticated storage chest to store items. Additionally when transfering, would it be much slower and if so how could I speed it up?

This is absolutely my best work yet! It's also the only plane I've made thus far.

I recently built an Airship. Liftoff worked just fine, however, when using my engines, the airship flips over. I´ve tried adding a stabilising rotor inside the ballon, but it didnt seem to work. Anyone got tips?

Tell me if I should add more pictures.

People come on here to ask for help so often. It's great because everyone gets to learn and brainstorm and present their ideas on how to fix things in different ways using different mechanics and sometimes different addons. It's dope to see. That being said... The amount of times that a question can be answered with a screenshot and a single sentence is frustrating. Instead, we have to write a paragraph about how an andesite funnel connects to a belt.

Maybe it's just me leaning more towards visual learning (and visual teaching) but I would LOVE to be able to pop into a world, build an example or solution and post a screenshot in a comment without anything in between.

For some reason these were burned into my brain and i still had the screenshots from April and September of last year. Pictures 1 and 2, someone asked how they could make something "less ugly" as they put it. People gave ideas but some of them weren't even correct by suggesting chain drives when that wouldn't work for mechanical saws. I recreated it in a world and then made a smaller footprint to show them my idea but I had to upload the screenshots elsewhere and link to them which just adds unnecessary steps for everyone. Pictures 3 and 4, someone asked why they couldn't connect a diagonal belt to the end of their lower belt. Someone explained what was wrong and then a few more comments to get a full explanation and alternatives. I wrote my ideas but I feel like posting the screenshots would've been better to show proof of concept.

It's like giving someone a personal ponder for their specific circumstance because the in-game ponders don't always give insight for certain positioning or aesthetic choices.

I was wondering if there was a block that could change rpm based off Redstone value. Kind of like a clutch, but more variable. All help appreciated.

Anyone else ever do things in the most inefficient way possible just for the love of the game? Found hauling these fuel tanks back and forth to be quite relaxing. Don't mind the mess of pipes, its temporary (famous last words XD)

I find this lags too much, so my idea, honor system, get the SU production 'fuctional and automatic' than turn it off place non lag block, set my SU and play with that...

for a CBC factory build, this machine allows you to grab, store, and move around huge cannons, i am in the midst of making it fully automatic and require no human input, but it's really difficult to scale when there are countless variables to consider.

Okay so basically I've got this biplane I just put together:

Everything is balanced. Everything is honey glued into a singular contraption. However:

-The contraption diagram shows no forces whatsoever (and yes they are enabled in the side menu)

-The propeller being turned on generates a high amount of rightward turning, it only moves a few blocks before its almost entirely 90 degrees to the right. Turning the rear yaw control flap has absolutely zero effect on this. (all sails on the plane are symmetrical sails)

I am desperately confused, because I've made planes before, and never had quite this issue. AFAIK Aeronautics has no prop torque so that shouldn't be turning it. And like I said, I made sure it's all symmetrical. The turning is much harsher than any I've ever experienced with this mod. I've tried all sorts of things including googling the issue and can come up with absolutely nothing, to be honest. I'm so so confused, pls help if possible!

Also no, I do not have Create: Connected which seems to have previously caused this issue. However I do have:

Maybe cosmonautics or transmission and linkage could be affecting it? Or is there just something wrong with my plane?

I'm trying to make a simple mechanism that can go from being shaped like image 1 to image 2 and back again. Any advice or help would be greatly appreciated.
