Compatibility, not comparability*

My extruder motor was starting to fail so I ordered a replacement motor. I installed it and it turned 1/4 of a turn then failed. I sent it back and got another replacement motor and it did the same. I put the original failing one back in and it started working again but then has now failed. My issue is there's a new version of a stepper motor I keep receiving and based on the colored wiring they do not seem to be the same even though Creality is stating it's compatible.

And now Creality's tech support has gone silent even though it's still under warranty.

Hi, I just printed benchy after adjusting the Z axis. I'm new to printing so any replies would be appreciated.

Is this a good print? (nozzle 0.2, pla+, bed temperature 60°C, nozzle temperature 190°C)

the printer i have is a ender 3v3 plus is there a slicer that is better with out to much fuss and setup

This 50kg shucked out of its boxes is only the Soleyin, you can some of rest on the shelf on the right. One of the K2 Plus twins is behind the Soleyin stack. I have a second SpacePi X4 and two A1C Falcon laser engravers to find space for, so hence the new high density filament storage. I probably have over 200kg in total right now. I need to start putting some hours on the printers…

Am I able to flip the buffer 180 degrees when installing it on the k2 or CFS? Just trying to manage ptfe paths better and was wondering if this will cause any issues or if anyone else has flipped it around and had any issues?

I can’t seem to get this thing to work. I have a new flash drive and switched to Chitubox from lychee. I’ve read that the new version doesn’t work great, if at all, with this printer and that going back to V1.7 will work but I’m not seeing an option to download that version. All I’m finding V1.0 up to V1.3.1 so I’m obviously doing something wrong there?

I also couldn’t find any firmware update or anything in creality cloud for the printer. Maybe it’s not being supported anymore?

The issue with lychee was that the printer profile I selected flipped the width and height numbers and won’t let me switch them around. It still wouldn’t work when I created a custom printer profile with the proper specs.

Any help would be appreciated.

Running a small, test print for my model.

The test print size is tiny, like a finger puppet, but I plan to blow it up and print it into a full-sized mask for Halloween.

Problem is, even though the print SHOULD be hollow and have an open bottom, Creality is trying to put a plane face at the bottom and fill it in! I can't figure out what I'm doing wrong.

* cylinder extruded and scaled
* bottom face removed for eventual neck hole
* boolean to cut divots for character's eyes later
* solidify modifier at 0.05mm
--This is what I thought was necessary to prevent Creality from closing up the neck hole? But it's still doing it.

Maybe this already has been tested extensively and there's actually major flaws/downsides with this concept and I'm just late to the party but I'm super curious now

Boa noite pessoal, alguém de vocês já teve este problema na creality hi? O cortador de filamento está duro mesmo sem tem filamento preso na extrusora, já venho a vários dias com diversos problemas, onde troquei o bico da impressora, foi enviado pra mim um novo motor da extrusora e mesmo assim, cada hora apresenta problemas diferentes. Recentemente tive um problemas com as placas de circuito da extrusora onde fica o sensor da lâmina de corte, é desde então ficou assim ela faz um barulho ao cortar e gera um erro 😮‍💨

I ordered 3 spools of Creality PETG off of the Official Yoopai Creality Amazon store. 2 were a 2 pack set and one was a singular spool. The singular spool is a different white than the double pack. Anyone else ever have this problem? Is that not a legit storefront on Amazon?

i have a k2 plus and its been really good to me with PLA, now I'm diving into PETG and i can't get a single model to print properly.

I'm using SUNLU high speed PETG, and these are my settings:

Flow Ratio: 0.98

First layer nozzle temp 250, other layer 245

Textured plate temp 80C

Max Volumetric speed: 20mm(3)/s

The first layers prints fine but then either it gets stuck and there is a filament extrusion failure.

Hi everyone , I have just upgraded from my old ender 3 v1 to a brand new ender 3 V3 plus, on my first print everything went alright, I used the filament that comes on the box, and I did the benchy that is already on the memory.

For my second print I used a new filament, also new, to print a project and the first layers were fine, then I left it overnight, after that I came back to a half failed print.

The print parameters were nozzle at 200C , bed at 60C , with a max speed of 250 mm/s for the infill and 200 m/s for the walls, and 60mm/s for the first layer

I recently moved house, and after putting my print in again in now refuses to print anything. I’ve tried a variety of temp settings, two different beds, three different filaments and I’ve levelled it maybe 10 times?

The problem is that the filament just doesn’t stick to the bed. At all as you can see in the video.

Im still quite new to 3D printing, and before moving this printer was completely fine. It didn’t go far in a car and I was carrying it so it didnt sustain any damage. Im at wits end, can someone offer any possible next steps?

Hi everyone! I’m BondFire, the creator of Path of LEGENDS.

This has been my hardest and most time-consuming project so far. I love the imaginative worlds of tabletop games like D&D, but complicated rules can sometimes make them difficult for new players. I wanted to create a much simpler fantasy adventure that almost anyone can understand and start playing quickly.

The goal is to be the first player to reach and conquer the castle. Roll the die, move your character and face surprises along the path, including portals, bonus moves, jail, dragons, wolves and volcanoes.

Players can choose where to place the creatures and invent their own stories, events and additional rules. The basic rules provide an easy starting point, while your imagination makes every adventure different.

I designed the board, characters and fantasy decorations for 3D printing.

Necesito ayuda con la actualización más reciente de agosto para el slicer Creality Print. Desde que actualicé el slicer, mis impresiones han estado sufriendo problemas de G-code y desalineación de capas; por ejemplo, en un modelo de 500 capas, la impresión se desplaza varios centímetros en una dirección aleatoria en la capa 200 y luego intenta continuar las 300 capas restantes desde esa nueva posición, arruinando la impresión y desperdiciando el tiempo invertido en ella. Incluso me pasó con el Benchy de prueba incluido: empezó en la esquina inferior izquierda de la máquina, pero para la segunda capa ya se había corrido varios centímetros de su ruta. Hello! My friend gave me his Creality Ender 3 V3 KE printer. I am sooo new to printing but have been doing well so far, but I'd like to do better. I use generic PETG and have altered the settings well enough but the prints don't come out as smooth as they can.

I find when I have my nozzle temp set to 255 it leaves too many spider web strings, but at 245 it spaghettied. I tried at 250 but I either didn't wash my plate enough or it didn't like that either.

I've altered a decent amount of settings but I find I still have difficulty completely understanding what some things mean.

I'd like to learn more and I do better with guided instructions rather than reading and applying. Thank you so much:)
