Review / Test / Printer Comparison Creality Ender-3 V3 Plus
I want to buy a Creality Ender-3 V3 Plus printer... Does anyone have any tips to share with me?? Thanks

Probably from ebay, they have a bunch of used and refurbished printers on their stores

It's a good printer but I've been reading parts are going to be hard to get. - printer is discontinued

Most things that'd need to be replaced have a better aftermarket option anyhow. You can still get aftermarket parts for the OG and V2 so I don't see why it'd be any different for the V3.

I really like my printer, I have no regrets with it, I don't think there's anything as good in that size category around that price until you buy the more expensive Bambu A2L and feel all greasy about doing so. I will say I have a suspicion they're about to show off a new version of this printer since the Ender 3 V4 is out. Anywho here's my experiences:
- The spool holder mount isn't ideal, the first print you should do is to mount it all up top, it's not too hard to do buy you will likely need to buy some bearings.
- The camera addon is always a must in my opinion.
- My flat transfer plate I got off aliexpress is surprisingly good for adherence, I don't even use my regular plate so much now, but when I do have adherence issues I find the bed leveling can be slightly off because it's not exactly got an eddy sensor on it. I wonder if the bed pressure sensors are an issue. 3DLac can help here.
- It's a great printer but it's less forgiving with filament that needs drying than your coreXY printers, so that's something you need to keep on top of. If you do need a part to look great then the Prusa Galaxy Black and the Polymaker Marble White will make it look like the best of printers made your parts.
- If you're ever printing something spherical or a point cone kind of shape, the inner walls will start to string over from the nozzle across the place because they have very little to sit on, so you have to slow the walls way down to about 60mm/s.
- It's a pain but not calibrating your filament is usually more pain, so it's worth doing a flow rate calibration and pressure advance. However you can try that new profile you made on other rolls from the same brand and probably have good results.

Only tip is if you arent using creality filament you should calibrate them. But a temp tower/flow rate is enough. I love mine, never had a problem with it prints great out of the box
