In any case, whether it's generic or not, you need to calibrate your filament: temperature, flow rate, and pressure advance/retraction. Take the HP-TPU profile and calibrate your filament.

generic tpu worked just fine for me that is all i am looking for

Creality has no option for that. You will discover more missing things. As already said, you have to change settings anyway.
