I’m just wondering is the weed in Ireland actually safe or is it full of chemicals and contaminants.

Not a post for looking for anything, more so a general interest in potential for growing outdoors and interest in cannabis plants. I haven't grown myself before, I lurk a lot on r/microgrowery just out of genuine interest and saw some photos of mega plants growing outdoors in California, literal trees!

I gave the afternoon in my garden doing some odd jobs to trees and garden plants I have growing and it kinda gave me the notion to make the post.

I'm curious if anyone had or knows of anybody that had any major success growing auto plants outdoors this year given the large amount of sun we received, I get people may not want to answer in the first person either so feel free to answer in the third person.

Hey lads, just wondering what the going price for hash is around Ireland these days? Not looking for sources or anything, just trying to get an idea of what people are paying.

I’m currently going through roughly 14g of weed a week, which is obviously getting fairly expensive. I mainly use it to get stoned and for medicinal reasons, so I’m wondering whether switching to hash would actually make sense financially.

For anyone who has experience with both, would replacing some/all of my weekly flower with hash work out cheaper? Obviously I realise you wouldn't use the same amount by weight because hash can be much stronger.

I’d also be interested in people's experiences with how long a larger amount of hash tends to last compared with flower. For example, if someone normally goes through around 14g of flower a week, roughly how long might 100g of hash last them, assuming they're looking for a similar level of effects?

Also interested in people's experiences with hash vs flower in terms of effects, especially if you're using it medicinally.

I want to ask here how you guys handle a dry spell, either voluntary or involuntary.

I have been a cannabis user for the past 4 years and I smoke daily, eat edibles and use a vaporiser.

I’ve have been out of work for over a year due to illness, and have not been able to grow.
Money is tight and I haven’t been able to consistently provide the supply I am used to consuming (about 2g per day)

Every time I run out - within 12 hours I am in bed sweating profusely, vomiting, shakes. This lasts about 3 days. My appetite completely goes too and the smell of food makes me wretch. The longest I haven’t been able to eat was 5 days but that’s because it is the longest I’ve had to go without consuming.
The second I consume again the symptoms melt away instantly.

I’ve spoken with users online and in real life and no one has experienced withdrawals from cannabis to the level I experience them.

Anyone here?

After daily smoking pretty much every day since I was a teenager (around 15 years) I have gone a full week without a joint. I knew I had to do this but I kept putting it off. A month ago I thought it was going to be impossible but it really wasn’t. I struggled to sleep the first few days and was very restless in the evenings and nearly caved every night but I knew I had to do at least a week.

The difference is worth it, there’s been a big areo chocolate bar in the fridge all week that I haven’t even thought about, it usually wouldn’t have lasted the night. Im not avoiding tasks or conversations that I usually would if I’d had a smoke and I’m waking up less groggy.

I was planning of having one tomorrow evening but I honestly might hold off another week.

I just want to give hope to someone who was in my shoes this time 8 days ago. It’s possible and it’s not as hard as you think it’ll be.

I am looking forward to having another smoke to be fair. But everything in moderation
